Unterschied bei Gibsonsaiten

Moin!
War eben im Gitarrenladen, um Saiten zu kaufen! Normalerweise nehm ich imme Gibson Brite Wires, die allerdings nicht da waren! Also hab ich die etwas teureren Gibson Vintage Reissue Saiten genommen... aber wo bitte ist der Unterschied (Außer dass die Vintage vakuumverpackt sind)?!? Die haben die gleichen Saitendicken... da unterscheiden sich ja sonst die Gibsonsaiten hauptsächlich, oder?
Sind da auch klangliche oder qualitative Unterschiede oder was?!

Stimmt genau. Stahl klingt immer heller, glockiger, Nickel Seiten dumpfer. Nickelumsponnenes Stahl ist halt meiner Meinung nach der goldene Mittelweg, da die nichtumwickelnden hohen Saiten aus purem Stahl sind, damit glockig hell klingen, die Basssaiten etwas druckvoller, dumpfer.
