Hierbei handelt es sich um einen schon älteren Liedtext, für den ich immer noch einen Sänger bzw eine Sängerin suche.

sehr schöne Musik und ein sehnsuchtsvoller Text ...

Sprachlich fällt mir folgendes auf, wobei ich kein native speaker bin, aber doch manchmal einen recht guten Riecher habe:

the long past joys of hearing your voice, and your most beautiful smile
sprachlich denke ich, es ist eher die Freude (Einzahl) als die Freuden und der Reim bleibt gefählt erhalten, vermute ich mal: the long past joy of hearing your voice and your (most) beautiful smile

Can't focus no more you are all I ache for my very essence of life
Das schreit nach Gerund: Can´t focus (hierbei sagt leo, dass es das auch ohne objekt gibt (on sth) - ich finde es eher ungewöhnlich und weiß auch nicht, ob es wirklich so funktioniert - könnte vielleicht ein native speaker was zu sagen) no more you are all I´m aching for my very essence of life

Auch da mal einen native speaker fragen: für mich durch das where ein Ort angesprochen und nicht (wie bei der deutschen Übersetzung) ein Grund oder ein Punkt der Beziehung ... So here we part oder So now´s the time we part würde für mich näher liegen ...

auch hier wäre ein native speaker gefragt, mir würden so Konstruktionen wie: your pretty face / the last embrace is still alive in my mind näher liegen ...

Natürlich kann es auch sein, dass hier eine besonders lyrische, genrebedingte Sprache am Werke ist, und alles genau so geht, wie Du es geschrieben hast.
