Ich finde den Text klasse, obwohl nur spürbar ist, wer hier wer ist.
Ein paar Sachen wie choir of mutes finde ich richtig klasse, bei ein paar anderen bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob man das so auf englisch sagen würde.

Erzeugt Bilder bei mir. Gut.
Man kann aber an einigem noch feilen.

eher ideas, imho geht beides finde ich, aber vll is ideas noch n bisschen besser

Wer sagt das zu wem? Wer ist mit they gemeint? Die, die Euch/Dir einreden, ihr müßt für ihre Ideen kämpfen oder die, welche die Feinde der Leute sind, für deren Ideen ihr kämpfen sollt?
bei they hab ich jetzt vor allem an so politiker oder sonstige "führer" gedacht, die einem sagen wofür man kämpfen sollte (jaja vll auch an n paar amerikanische politiker) obwohl das gar nicht die eigene idee ist, die man vertritt. das break them down soll nur bedeuten, dass man diese zu fall bringen soll.

Müßte ein native speaker was zu sagen. ja keine ahnugn, mein internet ging nciht, deswegen hab ich nur im wörterbuch nachschauen können ^^ da stand nur diktat ohne einschränkungen. kann aber auch so sein wie dus sagst...

Ist immer noch zweideutig. Die eine Lesart ist, dass sie sagen: wir sollen kämpfen für ihre Ideale und die anderen nieder machen. Die andere ist die, die Du meinst.
Mit so einer Formulierung wie: ( I say: ) Let´s break them down instead wird es eindeutig. Vielleicht fällt Dir oder einem anderen auch noch was besseres ein.

du weisst ja nicht, was du angerichetet hast, wenn du nach korrektur rufst.... Nur soviel, zwei sachen stimmen, aber dafür geht eine andere eher nicht, ausgerechnet....

Choir of Mutes.... der titel! "the mute" als nomen hab ich noch nie gehört, nur in verbindung als adjektiv, also "mute man" oder "mute guy" aber auch "deaf-mute". man nimmt auch eher "dumb", da "mute" eher sowas wie dämpfen meint

wegen dem mute, da bin ich mir ziemlcih sicher dass das auch geht, weil es ein lied gibt, in dem das wort genauso gebraucht wird. Ansonsten danke, dass du die noch offenen Fragen klären konntest!

klingt jez sehr ähnlich wie der titel von dem text hier, hat aber ausser diesem wort nix miteinander zu tun...

steht auch bei leo.org so. ich hab ja exttra noch nahc nem anderen wort für stumme gesucht, weil der titel mich so seh r an unearth erinnert hat, aber da kam nur "mutes"
