Hallo,

Vlt könntet ihr mal nochmal drüber gucken, ob der so okay ist (von der Grammatik, Wortwahl).

"Speak to me.
I bleed.
Can't you see?
I'm feeling lonely.

Forgotten words you say.
It was my last day.
I sit here and pray.
My future, so far away.

Refrain:

Fighting with the world.
Fighting with the pain.
Fighting against the world.
Fighting against the pain.

My needs are you.
I bleed for you.
All I know.
You don't love me.
Cant't you see?

Refrain:

Fighting with the world.
Fighting with the pain.
Fighting against the world.
Fighting against the pain.

Bridge:

I bleed for the land.

Und ich habe noch so eine Frage, kann ich im Englischen "She didnot wantED to carry on" sagen, oder ist das grammtikalisch falsch?

geht mehr oder weniger beides - ist ein inhaltlicher Unterschied: in dem Kampf oder für den Kampf

Einiges klingt ein bißchen nach Reimzwang, die konkrete Situation ist unklar und so bleibt einiges im Ungewissen - etwa was Liebe und Land miteinander zu tun haben.

Wenn Du Dich ein bißchen mit dem sontext-schreiben beschäftigen willst, kann ich Dir den workshop lyrics (link in meiner Signatur) an´s Herz legen.

Und ich habe noch so eine Frage, kann ich im Englischen "She didnot wantED to carry on" sagen, oder ist das grammtikalisch falsch?

Nein - she did not / didn´t want to - did not steht schon für die Vergangenheitsform - wäre im Deutschen etwa wie: sie tat nicht schaute statt sie tat nicht schauen.

Danke erstmal für deinen Beitrag. Btw. den Workshop hab ich mir schonmal angeguckt, ist ganz gut gelungen finde ich.

Oder als Alternative für diese Strophe folgende:
The sound of canons is making me sick
Killing with weapons, it's pulling me down.

Refrain:
Fighting with the world.
Fighting with the pain.
Fighting against the world.
Fighting against the pain.

My soul needs you
I bleed for you
All I know
You don't love me
I'm out of control
Can't you see?

Refrain:
Fighting with the world.
Fighting with the pain.
Fighting against the world.
Fighting against the pain.

Bridge:
I bleed for the land/love
I bleed for the pain
I bleed in this night
I bleed for this fight.

Ich weiß jetzt nicht, welchen Bezug ich eher nehmen soll...Liebe, oder Krieg !?
Aber vlt kann mir grad noch mal jemand sagen, wie's von der Sprache her ist.

hier sollte "I'm bleeding" hin, das macht in dem zusammenhang mehr sinn. present progressiv beschreibt immer eine "jetzt"-situation

Oder als Alternative für diese Strophe folgende:

"fight with" meint mit jemandem zusammen kämpfen, also "to fight the english with the french" meint "die engländer mit franzosen bekämpfen"

hier muss present progressiv, es ist ja diese spezielle nacht, das ist die "jetzt"-situation
I bleed for this fight.
hier auch
