Fehlersuche beim passiven JazzBass: Knacken, Brummen...

Soo, ich möchte auflösen! Ich denke ihr habt ein Recht drauf zu erfahren, was es denn nun war, nachdem ihr euch meiner so angenommen habt

Die Polepieces der Pickups (bzw. der Barren, in die die geschraubt sind) brauchten noch eine Verbindung zur Masse!
Sieht jetzt in der Praxis so aus: Verbindung vom "Barren1" zum "Barren2" und das dann zur normalen Masse (Potigehäuse), und das jedem mit jedem der zwei Splitcoils.

Darauf hat mich ein freundlicher Verkäufer im Rockshop Karlsruhe gebracht... ich wäre da wohl nie drauf gekommen

Aber das ist mal wieder so richtig toll:

Wieso steht nichts in den Installationsanleitungen auf der Webseite von DiMarzio über diese zusätzliche Masseverbindung drin ??!! Anleitungen Verfassen will eben gelernt sein.

"INSTALLING THE NEW PICKUPS
It will be necessary to remove the foam rubber which is attached to the plate beneath the pickups, as the new pickups are slightly deeper than the original. Cut a smaller piece of the packing foam, about 3" x 5/8", and place it beneath each of the pickups to give them some cushioning. Install the pickups in their respective compartments and run all four wires from each through to the control compartment. Screw the pickup in with the original mounting screws.

WIRING THE PICKUPS
Solder the red wire of each pickup to leg #2 of its respective volume pot. Solder the green wire of each pickup to the back of its respective volume pot. Solder the black and white wire of each pickup together. Put a piece of tape on this connection so that it does not touch any other part of the circuit. The wiring is now complete.

REASSEMBLING THE BASS
Replace the control plate and pickguard. Now restring the bass. Adjust overall pickup height with the mounting screws. The two pickups should be adjusted so that, with either at maximum volume, the level is relatively even. If your new pickup comes with adjustable polepieces, they can be adjusted in pairs (if necessary) to compensate for any volume imbalance between individual strings."
