PC erkennt Fishman Onboard Aura nicht

Hallo!
Nachdem ich schon mit sämtlichen Suchen im Netz nicht weitergekommen bin, richte ich meine Frage nun direkt an euch.
Ich habe seit nicht allzu langer Zeit eine Martin JC-16 RE Aura, die über einen eingebauten Fishman Onboard Aura verfügt. Eigentlich bin ich mit den voreingestellten Images sehr zufrieden, wollte jetzt aber doch einmal mit dem PC Programm andere Einstellungen ausprobieren.
Hab mir also die Aura Image Gallery runtergeladen.
Problem:
Das Aura Image Gallery Programm zeigt mir immer an "The connected device is not a Fishman retail product. Please contact manufacturer."
Der PC erkennt laut Gerätemanager etc. überhaupt nicht, dass was angschlossen ist. In der Leiste unten rechts wird auch keine Hardware angezeigt. Treiber sind alle aktualisiert.
Wenn ich allerdings gar nix anschließ, zeigt mir das Aura Programm an: "Please connect an Aura device to register." Also muss ja zumindest die Software merken, dass ich was an den PC angeschlossen hab...

Bin ratlos und freue mich über Ideen.

Fishman selbst habe ich auch schon kontaktiert, aber wer weiß, wie lange das dauert, bis die antworten...

Wäre dann doch schon cool, wenn du nach deinem Hilfsgesuch auch die Lösung posten würdest, so dass der/die Nächste mit gleicher Problematik davon profitieren kann (quasi dem Sinn des Forums entsprechend...).

Da zwar Anuschka geholfen ist, aber sonst niemand, versuche ich das Thema abzurunden.
Die Meldung "The connected device......" kommt nur dann, wenn es mit der Gitarre bzw. Fishman Aura System nicht möglich ist Veränderungen vorzunehmen.
Ich habe eine Martin DC Aura und habe das gleiche Phänomen. Das liegt daran, dass die 6 Images, die auf dem Onboardsystem sind, von Martin vorgegeben sind und nicht durch den Kunden verändert werden können. Mit anderen Worten es bringt auch nix die Software Image Gallery sich zu installieren, weil man damit nichts ändern kann.
Übrigens gilt es auch für Gibson Gitarren.

Nach meiner Kontaktaufnahme mit Fishman, die sofort und ausführlich geantwortet haben, ein letzter Nachtrag zu diesem Thema:

"Factory installed Aura devices have no need to connect to our computer software. They are already ideally setup for your guitar. To understand this more completely, I think, first of all, a bit of clarity on what Aura imaging does is in order. Basically, we record a guitar (let's say, for the sake of argument, a Martin D-16) with several different recording microphones and the guitar's Matrix under saddle pickup, all at the same time. Each microphone output is compared to the pickup output using a computer algorithm which is able to identify the difference between the pickup sound and the microphone sound. This difference becomes the image. If you play a D-16 with the Matrix under saddle through an Aura unit with this image loaded, the Aura is able to recreate the sound of the high quality studio microphone, using only the pickup signal. If you plug in a different guitar (say a Yamaha concert guitar) using the D-16 images, the result would not be for your Yamaha to sound like a D-16. It would just sound bad. So, when people put an Ellipse or Onboard Aura in their guitar, aftermarket, there must be some way for them to look through our images to find the instrument which most closely matches theirs. In a perfect world, we would have the exact model of guitar. Some folks take advantage of our custom shop, and have images created from their specific guitar, creating an exact match. Of course, an exact match is the best possible option.

In the case of an OEM Aura, installed at the factory, we have already created images from that exact guitar model and the manufacturer has selected the best resultant matches to include on the factory device. The factory Fishman product is then locked with those images. Why? Because there are no better images to be gained. Hooking the product up to the computer to download images can only create worse results, not better. So, the factory installation of your Aura product is already optimized for your guitar, and can't (and shouldn't) be connected to your computer for alternate images."
