Simply having a woeful christmastime!

Hallo!

Um mich selbst ein bisschen in Weihnachtsstimmung zu bringen, habe ich mich hingesetzt, um einen beschwingtes Weihnachtslied zu schreiben.
...und dann ist es plötzlich doch mal wieder ein Song über den Tod und die Hässlichkeit der menschlichen Existenz geworden. Tja.

Das Lied ist noch nicht komplett fertig...insbesondere das Ende werde ich noch ausbauen. Ich wollte aber trotzdem schonmal prüfen, ob der Track mit seinem Zynismus einigermaßen sozialverträglich ist.
Ich würde mich über Feedback zum Song und zu den Lyrics freuen. Solltet ihr irgendwelche Mixing-Anregungen haben, würde ich die ebenfalls versuchen zu berücksichtigen.

The audience was captivated
They cheered and laughed before they cried
The advertisers pulled out of future events
The culprits can not be compromised

And their statement read:
"We do not associate
with the organisation
responsible for the incident
that caused so much harm and distress
for the parents and children
that witnessed the tragic event..."

The whole family almost suffocated
Except for Pete because he did
He had a plan that he kept secret from his wife and kids
He took the measurements, he´d fit

Turns out Pete miscalculated
Turns out Pete is a thick boi
His yelps for help got drowned out by the crackling fire
And by his children playing with their new toys

And the toy manufacturers statement read:
"Our heart goes out to the
wife and the children
who tragically lost
their beloved husband and father.
Yet we´d like to distance ourselves
from the accusations, that the noise-level
of our popular product line
of animal-toy pianos

to a persons untimely death..."

Ich finde aber, so ab der Mitte könnte es so richtig abgehen (Bass und Drums-Snare).

Hallo Ennis!

Danke für den Tipp mit den Drums...ich sitze da im Moment dran und versuche was hinzufrickeln. Drum-Programming ist echt nicht mein Ding. Außerdem geben die Weihnachts-Jingles nicht soviel her für ne große Variation im Pattern. Aber ich probier´s mal aus.
Außerdem versuche ich den Mix etwas ausgewogener hinzubekommen. Für meine Ohren spielt sich ziemlich viel in den Mitten ab...oder stelle ich mir das grade nur vor?

Bis zum fertigen Song scheints noch ein längerer Weg zu sein. Leider ist Christmas-Day schon so bald. Hoffentlich werde ich bis dahin fertig. ;;


Hier ist übrigens nochmal ne neue Version...vielleicht könnte da jemand nochmal rüberhören.

Hallo Souljacker,

sag mal, hast du die Version bereits bearbeitet....Eigentlich wollt ich da was schreiben....traute mich aber nicht und alles was ich da schreiben wollte, hör ich nicht mehr. Nu fällt mir nur auf, dass die taktgebende Triangel (ist keine Triangel, komme aber nicht auf den Namen ) sehr dominant ist. Und wenn nu noch zu viel in den Mitten sein sollte, dann nur ein wenig von der mittigen (panmäßig) höheren Melodie. .(die auch ganz am Anfang ist). Aber wie gesagt, bin der Meinung du hast es bereits verbessert....

Ach und

Dafür bringst du es aber sehr beschwingt rüber....Ich höre ja bei anderssprachigen Texten erst mal nicht auf den Text.
