Genos Digital Out

Hallo. Ich habe mir gestern ein kleines Upgrade geleistet und mein Tyros 5 gegen Genos getauscht. Alles soweit gut bis ich Digital Out getestet habe. Ich habe Genos zu RME Fireface UCX über SPDIF angeschlossen
Ich habe dann eine Aufnahme in Cubase gemacht. Und... oh Schreck! Ich höre lauter Verzehrungen, man erinnert sich an Super Nintendo Zeit. Man hört dieses typisch digitale Klang. Ist es normal? Denn diese Option war eine der Gründe Upgrade zu machen. Ich benutze gern Strings und Blaseninstrumente von Yamaha für meine Projekte und habe auf eine rauschfreie Aufnahme gehofft. Hat jemand ne Erfahrung?

es ist deutlich eine Verzerrung? hörbar, da ich das RME nicht kenne, tippe ich auf Aussteuerung (Gain) Samplerate, Buffersize o.ä. in den Einstellungen.

eine rauschfreie Aufnahme gehofft.

Die ist allerdings Analog genauso möglich...
Also, experimentiere mit den o.g. Parametern, ob es was ändert...

Vielen Dank! Das lag tatsächlich an Einstellungen von RME. Der Clock Mode Sample Rate war bei RME standardmässig auf 48000 Hz gestellt. Genos Digital Out gibt aber 24 bit, 44100 Hz. Nach dem umstellen auf 44100 bei RME läuft alles einwandfrei!!!

Hallo Frantisek,

a coax cable from the Digital Out of the Genos to the SPDIF-IN of the Fireface UCX transmits the digitized signal (at 44.1 kHz/24 bit) as from the Genos LINE OUT MAIN sockets.

But your audio interface probably has an optical (no coax) ADAT/SPDIF input and therefore cannot be connected to the Genos' digital out directly - a converter Digital COAXIAL output TO Optical TOSLINK is necessary between coax and optical connectors for SPDIF.
