I guess there is no (more an) official "welcome section", but if you're a guitarist first of all, you could use this thread here to introduce yourself. I dunno if you're interested spending time in a german based forum (google translate could be a pain for sure), but there is some cool stuff out here and lots of helpfull users...so just feel free to ask.
