Den Text hab ich vor 2 Jahren mal geschrieben, als zwischen mir und meiner Ex Schluss war. Ich habe versucht, den Text nicht allzu cheesy wirken zu lassen.

NEVER FORGET
I'm looking right into an empty space
with the decision or division that I made
regret and depression that keep hanging over me
but the will of don't want to fall again disagrees

What's the point of this choice that keep killing my conscience
I only know that I can never forget

It's too hard to see the problems in your deep inside
I really tried to take away things of you that denied
to give your feelings you probably had back in time
to stop the repression of this fucking grime

My love and passion to you isn't fully expired
'cause I only know that I can never forget...YOU

Is it the beginning of the end where we part?
But don't expect me to ask for a second chart!
I won't be the rock to bar the way you'll go
that's all I can say so that (I could forget you for now!)

What was my fault?
My cold, black heart?
Did all fall apart?
Is that all you've got?

ein paar Anmerkungen zu Deinem Text:

Diese Konstruktion finde ich ziemlich sperrig: Der Wille des nicht-wollens-wieder-zu-Fallen ... Zudem ist die Frage, ob der Wille selbst überhaupt widersprechen kann ... aber wenn, dann vielleicht eher: but the will not to fall again disagrees ... obwohl eben imho auch nicht verkehrt wäre: but I don´t want to fall again

Alternativ: I only know I will never forget ... oder vielleicht forgive?
Worum geht es bei dieser Wahl, die mein Gewissen abtötet?
Ich weiß nur dass ich niemals vergessen kann.

Es ist zu hart die Probleme in Deiner Tiefe zu sehen
Ich habe wirklich versucht, Dir Dinge abzunehmen, die bestreiten/verleugnen (?)
Dir Gefühle zu geben die Du vielleicht früher hatttest (?)
zu stoppen die Repression von diesem verfickten Schmutz (?)

Ich werde nicht der Fels sein, der Dich daran hindert, Deinen Weg zu gehen / der auf Deinem Weg liegt (?)

Bei einigen Konstruktionen oder Ausdrücken blicke ich nicht so ganz durch, einiges scheint mir umständlicher als es sein müßte - das schafft Distanz.

Einige Metaphern könnten vielleicht stärker herausgearbeitet werden oder einfach mehr Raum bekommen - überhaupt sind Gedanken sehr im Vordergrund.

Gut finde ich, dass Dein Text authentisch wirkt (und wohl auch ist): man merkt, es geht um das echte Leben einer echten Person. Davon mehr! Durchaus auch kurze und knappe Beschreibungen, die kurz die Personen erhellen - quasi schlaglichtartig: vergiß nicht, dass Du die Personen kennst - das Publikum aber nicht ...

Wie stehst Du denn selbst - nachdem etwas Zeit ins Land gegangen ist - zu dem Text?

Und in welche Richtung soll die Umsetzung gehen?
