Guten tag

I cannot speak German language so I do the message in English. I hope you understand. No fear, this is not spam. I got hint about this forum from another accordion forum.

I have an accordion survey for all you and I hope many answers. I'm in a handcraft mastership education and one main element in the education is service design, and this survey is used to collect data for further study. I'm interested what kind of accordions people are using around the world. The survey is fast to do. Feel free to share the link to your friends, too.

Hi Viljo!

Nice questionnaire, but my web browser (Mozilla Firefox) did not allow me to list all my three instruments into separate lines. That's the reason, why I filled out only the parameters of my main instrument (with melody bass) which is of crucial importance to my musical activities.

I wish you all the best in your musical professional career!

Best regards, Vladimir

It seems that the first link goes trough Facebook. The link you put, Torquemada, is the direct link. The first link appeared when copy-pasting messages / links from Facebook. So no big issue. Both works.

Akkordeonengel: it is fine if you put only one instrument. People have put even seven accordions to the survey, although it is not designed for that. People have separate the answers with commas. That is fine. I go all answers trough after it is put offline. (and I am not a professional player, I am repairing accordions for living).

I wonder why there are not that many answers from German language areas. Language barrier? German is huge in accordion so I hope more people are answering :)

Hi Viljo!

I am repairing accordions for living

Great decision! In fact, in this branch there are only few really good and skilled repairers and toolmakers, at least in Slovakia, because i live in Slovakia. But I think it's universal, good masters are few frequent. I wish you to become a real master in this branch!

God has given every person different talents. You are here at a forum where people are preferably gifted with music talents. In addition to music, they share a common language of communication - German. German is an important language in engineering and construction disciplines, it's worth it to know. The Germans have the oldest companies Hohner and Harmona with great historical contribution.

Other nations are numerous, some many times higher, for example China. However, given the quality of Chinese accordions, I really do not want and will to learn Chinese. :D

Finally, my personal good advice: This forum is worth it to learn German. :great:

Herzliche Grüße aus der Slowakei wünscht Vladimir

I have to say that I have been in German language courses for two years - 15 years ago. Teacher was not the best so it was not fun to learn the language. And there is a lot of reasons me to learn German (not only because of Derrick or Der Alte) - lots of accordion books are in German language. I have been in Harmona factory during the Klingenthal music competition some years ago. That was a nice trip :)

I hope still more answers. At the moment top 5 countries are (by answers): USA, UK, Finland, Canada and Germany. 8 more answers and there would be more answers from Germany than from Canada.
