ich hab mir mal wieder was ausgedacht und hätte dazu gerne eine Meinung.

Text wird akustisch begleitet. Westergit, bissl drum und Bass.

Stil? irgendwas zwischen John Farnham, James Blunt und Jack Johnson.

Sagt doch mal eure Meinung dazu. Speziell zu einigen englischen ausdrücken.

also ein "mit dem linken Fuß aufgestanden und alles läuft schief" Text - okay, warum nicht.
Insgesamt könnte ich mir den witziger und abgedrehter vorstellen - die Grundsituation kennt ja jede/r und so liegt das Haupaugenmerk ja nicht darauf, was eigentlich los ist, sondern wie die Mißgeschicke sich häufen, erzählt werden und wie die Katastrophe aufgebaut wird.

Ich weiß nicht so recht, welche englischen Ausdrücke Du meinst, wo Du nicht weißt ob das so funzt - ich hab da jetzt nicht so die Klopper entdeckt. Könnte insgesamt einfach ein bißchen besser fließen und "tricky" oder slapstickmäßiger sein für meinen Geschmack - ich find´s manchmal eher ein bißchen bemüht bzw. umständlich. Könnte kürzer, knackiger, schneller und dafür vieldeutiger sein, imho.

Kannst Du damit was anfangen?

mit dem ref bin ich eig. zufrieden. Strophen müssten vielsagender sein.

Yu - Refrain ist in Ordnung, der hat nen schönen groove.

Weiß ja nicht, wie die Mukke dazu so ist, aber gefühlsmäßig würde ich statt so:

The date has been at 8 but you can't make it until then

eher in so eine Richtung gehen:
the alarmer / alarm clock didn´t ring and you wake up at ten
too late for the date and so you´ve wrecked it again

Einfach so voll auf die 12 und keine langen Faxen ...
