Moin,

ich stell mal in nächster Zeit Texte rein, die entweder älter sind oder mir nicht wirklich gefallen haben. Selbst wenn ich die nicht vertone, ist es doch mehr als peinlich, sollte sich
jemand diese in meinem Songbüchlein durchlesen, der auch noch des Englischen mächtiger ist als mir lieb ist.
Hier mal der erste.
Also wer Lust hat kann ja mal auf's englische schauen.

quit ist imho rein aktiv: aufhören, kündigen, verlassen - ist also auf ne person bezogen oder du musst es passiv machen, was aber imho nicht so paßt. würde sowas nehmen wie: which I will never quit oder so

soll sense das Verb sein? dann senses, vielleicht auch eher shakes oder moves oder sowas

Well, well, well - also in der Zwischenzeit hast Du erhebliche Fortschritte gemacht!
Erste Ansätze erkennt man in dem Text auch: direkt aufs Gemeinte hin schreiben, schnörkellos aber nicht ohne Sprachwitz, mitunter schöne Wendungen und ungewohnte Bilder - halt das was Deine Texte so lesenswert macht.

Aber da humpelt und bumpelt noch einiges und an mancher Stelle verlangt der Reim Zwingwörter, die sich in den Rachen legen.

Wie viel willst Du denn daran noch ändern? Geht´s Dir darum, die als "historisch-biografische" Texte der Nachwelt zu überlassen und nur zu schauen, dass keine groben Schnitzer drin sind oder willst Du Dich da noch mal reinknieen und einen guten Text draus machen?

Also ich hab erst mal nach Fehlern gesucht und das, was ich meine, entdeckt zu haben, angetackert.

Hi x-Riff,

danke für die schnelle Antwort und die Korrekturen.
Ich überarbeite so ziemlich jeden Text, nachdem ich ihn ins Forum gestellt hab.
Meist immer mit den hier gegeben Vorschlägen.
Dann verschwindet der in meinem Buch und wartet auf seine Vertonung.
Gelegentlich bin ich allerdings etwas zu faul, um einem Text den letzten Schliff zu geben.
Wie beim Obigen. Der ist in der absolut ersten Fassung geblieben und nie von mir überarbeitet worden.
Im nächsten Jahr hab ich mir einiges vorgenommen. Ein guter Freund macht sich mit aufnehmen, abmischen etc gerade vertraut. Er spielt Kontrabass. Das passt schon ganz gut.
Er wohnt bloß knapp 70 km weit weg. Das macht's etwas schwierig und vor allem langwierig. Ein kleines elektronisches Drum-Set hab ich mir auch grad im Netz bestellt. Das reicht um ein sparsames Schlagzeug drauf zu spielen. Keine Atempause, Musik wir jetzt gemacht, es geht voran.
