1/27/2014 Behringer is about to make a lot of people happy, from music pros to PC gamers – with the Company’s new USB-equipped monitor speakers that bring an audiophile-level experience to everything from creating music, to simply enjoying listening to it. The newStudio 50USB and Media 40USB announced today pack more power than competitors and feature seriously-accurate sound.
The Studio 50USB and the Media 40USB really bring out the best in music. The Studio 50USB delivers 100 ultra-clean Watts of digital sound through separately-powered drivers via a true bi-amping mode with dedicated high- and low-frequency amplifiers per enclosure. The Media 40USB delivers 40-Watts in a similarly bi-amplified configuration, making them an ultra-affordable way to upgrade any computer system to premium quality sound.

Behringer has taken great care in matching the internal amplifiers and crossover points specifically to each model’s woofers and tweeters for optimal performance.
Both the Studio 50USB and Media 40USB monitors provide ultra-linear frequency response – perfect for multimedia production, or just enjoying sound from streaming media. USB connectivity eliminates the need for special cables and adapters, which makes setup a breeze, plus the speakers are magnetically shielded to work perfectly with computer monitors – even when placed in close proximity to video monitors of all types.
“Our new Studio 50USB and Media 40USB monitors were designed for people who really care about sound quality,” said Product Manager Bert Niedermeyer. “They will easily impress anyone seeking audiophile-grade performance whether they are mixing tracks or just listening to their favorite songs. Plus, they look as great as they sound!”
Flexibility is built into both the Studio 50USB and the Media 40USB. Users have the freedom to connect either a stereo TRS or RCA device to the rear panel inputs of either set of monitors – simultaneously. With its room-filling output, high-quality woofers and tweeters plus true bi-amped operation, flexible USB/analog connectivity and elegant styling – Studio 50USB and Media 40USB digital monitor speakers bring music to life!

New ULM Series enables every member of the band to experience true freedom
1/27/2014 Behringer announced today that the Company’s new Ultralink ULM Wireless Series has something for virtually every member in the band. No matter whether the guitarist, bassist or vocalist wants the freedom to roam the stage, or the audience – there’s a ULM for that!

Public speakers will enjoy the simplicity of the ULM200LAV package, which pairs a lavalier mic and belt-pack transmitter with a single-channel receiver. Guitarists and bass players are also cut loose to work the room thanks to theULM200GTR, which pairs a belt-pack transmitter with a dedicated single-channel receiver.

All microphones contain state-of-the-art transmitters operating in the 2.4 GHz range, well out of the TV and cell phone transmission bands, for the ultimate in high-definition performance. Audio outputs are balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4″ TS, allowing connection to PA and conference room systems, or high-quality instrument amplifiers.

BEHRINGER Expands Nekkst Series of Studio Monitors
Unparalleled performance from collaboration with Keith Klawitter, founder of KRK
1/27/2014 Behringer is expanding its Nekkst Series of Audiophile Bi-amped Studio Monitors by adding the K6 and K10S subwoofer to the existing K8 and K5 speakers. These 2 new products build on the legacies of both Behringer and Keith R. Klawitter – the most renowned loudspeaker designer in the industry, who together launched the Nekkst Series last year.
The 180-Watt K10S subwoofer and 150-Watt K8, K6 and K5 provide a true distortion-free image of the mix, thanks to their deformation-resistant, glass-fiber cone woofers, which supply deep, tight bass and virtually smear-proof mids. An ultra-high resolution, silk-dome tweeter provides sparkling highs – enhanced by Keith Klawitter’s Advanced Waveguide Technology for an extremely generous sweet spot

All of this is built into high-density composite enclosures that virtually eliminate low-frequency distortion – and provide ultra-low diffraction. Nekkst Studio Monitors can be easily and instantly adapted to a wide range of acoustical environments, so producers always get accurate response, resulting in powerful mixes that translate perfectly across all playback applications.
“This is my best work yet!” said KRK founder Keith R. Klawitter.
“We are extremely pleased for this opportunity to work with the legendary Keith Klawitter,” said Music Group founder and CEO Uli Behringer. “He’s a perfectionist – and it shows in the design and performance of these amazing speakers!”
The K8, K6, K5 Studio Monitors and K10S Subwoofer have a suggested U.S. MAP of $199.99, $179.99, $149.99 and $249.99 respectively – and are covered by Music Group’s 3-Year Limited Warranty Program.
