Hab mir die ja (passenderweise) zu meinem Silbernen Geburtstag letzten Dezember gekauft für 650 Euro
Das Ding ist mein Babe geworden echt , sie spielt sich wie eine WESENTLICH teuerere , sieht UNVERSCHÄMT Geil aus , spezielle PU´s , spezielle Mechaniken , das Silverburst im Klassik Outfit und vor Allem der 12" Hals mit den Babypopo weich abgerundeten Bünden ...ehrlich ..ich bin so froh dass ich sie habe , ist Indonesien das neue Japan ?
Wenn man mich fragt , ich finde den Preis absolut Angemessen , ein Koffer muss für das Schätzchen auch noch her

Mein Bandkollege hatte mal eine Epi SG in Pelham Blue. Die Verarbeitung war sehr gut, nur der Hals war sehr kräftig, obwohl es ein Slim Taper sein sollte.

Wie sind denn so die Epi SGs? Hab noch keine getestet aber vll Interesse mal in die SG Welt einzutauchen.

Wie alle anderen Epiphones, man findet da schon gute Instrumente.
Im Gegensatz zu den Les Pauls find ich sie von vornerein klanglich etwas reifer, allerdings hab ich auch schon seit Jahren keine neuen Epis mehr in der Hand gehabt - vielleicht ist das überholt.
Ich hab die Erfahrung gemacht, dass die nicht immer einheitliche Hälse verbaut haben.
Hab da schon Slimtaper und etwas keuligere in gleichen Reihen in der Hand gehabt.

Ich überlege mir mal an der Iommi Signature rumfingern soll. Aber 600+ eus sind schon ne Ansage für ne epi, auch wenn es eine Signature ist.

Jupp, sie alle haben mal welche gehabt. Genauso wie Laneys. Und Black Sabbath Konzerte.
Solang der Name "Hamburg" fällt meidet der Name "Iommi" die nördlichen Gebiete...

macht 270€ die Pickups, + 295€ die SG, sind 565€.
Dazu die Tatsache dass die Epiphones nicht 135 pro Pickup zahlen...
Wenn die Gitarre n Halsbinding hätt, und somit der großen Schwester optisch nah kommen würd, oder solche Features wie Long Neck Tennon aufweisen würde, würd ichs anders sehen.
