Hallo ihr!
Ich hab hier mal einen Songtext für euch, wo ich mich freuen würde, wenn jemand der des Englischen mächtig ist, mal kurz nachschauen könnte ob alles Grammatikalisch seine Richtigkeit hat.

and the Bees are working

We are living in such a beautiful World!
Every Animal is created by God
But the Humans are sitting in front of TV
and are wasting thier Lives!

The Air is clear an every Breath is healthy
The See invites to Swim
Cows are lying in the Shades wich the Trees are spending
and the leaves rustle in the Wind

Refrain 2:

We are living in such a beautiful World!
There's no Accident, all is wanted by God
But the Humans are surfing in the Internet
and are wasting thier Lives!

Bridge:

Don't be a Fool! Go outside!
You waste your Life before you'll notice!

Don't just sit around!

"Humans" bezeichnet menschliche Wesen im biologischen Sinne als Art. Was Du meinst sind die Menschen um Dich herum. Das wären dann eher "but people..."

Und die sitzen dann "in front of their TVs"

The See invites to Swim

Die See lädt jemanden zum schwimmen ein, daher: The Sea invites "you/us/people" to swim.

Cows are lying in the Shades wich the Trees are spending
and the leaves rustle in the Wind

Du musst in derselben Zeit bleiben, daher: The leaves are rustling in the wind.

all is wanted by God

Naja, das würde bedeuten, dass er alles haben will, nicht dass alles gottgewollt ist. Besser wäre wohl: given, created, inspired, done...

Mit Humans wollte ich die Menschheit als solches Ausdrücken, also nicht direkt die Menschen um mich rum. Trotzem dann People?

Und die sitzen dann "in front of their TVs"

Puhh... das wird ein ziemlicher Zungenverschlucker, da für "their" eigentlich kein Platz mehr ist...gibts da nicht ne alternative?

Ich wollte damit ausdrücken: Der See lädt zu schwimmen ein. also nicht personifiziert er lädt jemanden ein, sondern er lädt einfach ein. Aber das gibts im englischen wohl so nicht, was?

Besser wäre wohl: given, created, inspired, done...

Da ich created ja shcon verwende, nehme ich dann lieber given... all is given by God.

Jo, kein Engländer/Amerikaner sagt "Humans", wenn er nicht über den Menschen als zoologische Art spricht.

Tja, eigentlich nicht. Andererseits - sei nicht päpstlicher als der Papst, dann lass das "their" einfach weg. Ist zwar nicht optimal, aber wenn es passt - who cares?

Genau. Im Englischen ist diese Einladung immer an eine Zielrichtung gekoppelt. "To invite" ist daher immer im Zusammenhang mit "somebody" zu gebrauchen.

Da ich created ja shcon verwende, nehme ich dann lieber given... all is given by God.

Da fällt mir jetzt auch auf, dass "all" eigentlich auch nicht so optimal ist. . Eigentlich wäre "everything" passender, aber wahrscheinlich passt das rhythmisch nicht rein...

Ja, das ist auch in England eine übliche Formulierung. Es gibt allerdings auch die umgangssprachlichere Version: "Surfing the internet".

Schau mal nach, wann man das progressive benutzt und wann das simple present. Wann immer etwas gewohnheitsmäßig passiert, spielt das simple present mit.

Ich hab bei spending mal nachgeforscht und raus gefunden, dass man eigentlich providing sagt, bei schatten.
Ich verwende ja shcon recht viel are's, kann man die eigentlich auch mal weglassen, so dass es nicht ganz so auffällig ist, bzw. in den Sprachrhythmus passt?

z.B. Cow are lying in the Shades which the Trees providing..?!
oder Cats playing in the Streets...

Sorry, das kann so nicht richtig sein. Ich hab da nämlichnach recherchiert und im Internet (ich glaub http://www.dict.cc/ war es) eine Regel dazu gefunden.
Bei der Mehrzahl von Leben heißt es LiVes steht da und nicht Lifes...da ich es erst auch mit f hatte.

Das hat mir irgend ein Engländer glaube ich auch mal erzählt

Jep, leider geht es vom Singrhythmus nicht anders.. musste hier also einen Kompromiss eingehen.

Ich hatte wie gesagt vorher den gleichen Fehler gemacht. Manchmal ist Englisch doch zum kotzen ;-) Wie gut das es bei der Aussprache dann nicht drauf ankommt ob man lives oder lifes singt

es macht bei der aussprache schon nen unterschied, wollte ich noch anmerken.......ein deutliches indiz, dass jemand deutscher ist, ist dass er live/lives falsch ausspricht,,,,,,,naemlich eben mit f......es ist aber ein v.
