Gute Neuigkeiten Pimpifax.

Für Cubase gibt es dafür eine eigene Lösung, nennt sich IC Pro und bei Pro Tools heisst sie ProRemote.
Bei Steinberg ist Remote kostenlos, ebenso die VST Connect Webclients für Project sharing. (anderes Thema, aber auch sinnvoll)

Alternativ kannst Du von Eumlab das DAW Remote verwenden, unterstützt sind Logic, PT und Ableton Live.
Der soll vernünftig sein, habe ich selbst aber nicht getestet.

Kurzer update, IC Pro Cubase kommt in diesem Sommer auch für Android.

Und all diejenigen die keine Lust auf neumodischen Schnickschnack haben kaufen sich einfach für ein paar Euros einen Ziffernblock mit Funkanbindung.

Teamviewer is good. Additiobnally, you may also try R-HUB remote support servers for remotely accessing PC or MAC computers from any android or iOS device.

yeah, it's April 1st... so you're forgiven
controlling a DAW via remote access is the most annoying procedure I can remember
actually it worked quite well in very early releases, which directly transfered fingertips
but they quickly changed this when people noticed that one couldn't read the screen behind the tip anymore
the follow up displacement-method is just crap....
