hallo meine lieben mit-lyriker

nachdem ich hier so gesehen habe wie sehr und detailliert man teilweise auf die texte eingeht hatte ich das verlangen auch mal etwas hochzustellen.

ich hab mir zimlich viel mühe gegeben und denke dass es ganz gut ist. aber villeicht seht ihr das ja ganz anders.

wäre erfreut über kommentare, kritiken und verbesserungsvorschläge

sehr gelunger text wie ich finde...wenn man den mit screams und cleans vorträgt(so hab ich ihn mir grad vorgestellt) wirkt er sehr ehrlich....vor allem dieses auftreten oh my god und why? als wiederholung wirken sehr verzweifelt, was da gut reinpasst...

gesamt ein sehr guter text und auch sprachlich nicht zu eindimensional was das vokabular angeht....

9/10 Punkten^^.....btw: hat irgendwie underOATH style find ich^^....also auch vom musikalischen stell ich mir da sowas vor^^

soaked bedeutet imho hier eher eingeweicht, durchtränkt - finde ich jetzt nicht so hyperpassend, weil der Körper des lyrischen Ich das Blut ja nicht aufsaugt wie ein Schwamm oder so - vielleicht sowas wie bedeckt = covered with oder sowas?

Alternative wäre wounds, finde ich persönlich verständlicher

Alternative zu take over (übernehmen) wäre take on (auf mich nehmen)

As one ist etwas mißverständlich imho - als Einer? als ein Paar? als - ja als was? Alternative wäre sowas wie together = zusammen stehen wir das durch, ne andere Möglichkeit wäre es umzustellen und quasi zu sagen, dass uns das hier nicht teilt oder zerstört sondern enger zusammen schweißt oder so ...

da bekomme ich kein Bild zu: stehst Du auf seinem Grab? An seinem Grab? on your grave würde ich mir so vorstellen, dass du auf dem Grabstein sitzt oder so ...

verstehe ich auch nicht: blame yourself? you have to blame yourself? Yourself is (the one) to be blamed? Was soll das denn auf Deutsch heißen?

Dieses laid out with roses bezieht sich auf was bitte? Wenn es auf den Sarg sein soll, dann wird das nicht erkenntlich ... Ansonsten hieße es nämlich: Mit Rosen ausgekleidet starbst Du in Schande ...

Kann ich mir sehr schön vorstellen, diesen in mehreren Phasen aufgeteilten Abgesang auf einen geliebten Menschen ... bedeutet natürlich auch dementsprechend einfühlsame musikalische und gesangliche Umsetzung ... aber gibt als Text schon mal jede Menge her!

Zuweilen klingen die Wörter zuweilen wie direkt aus dem Wöterbuch entlehnt, ein paar kleine Fehlerchen, ein paar ungenaue Zuordnungen - aber insgesamt doch ein gutes Englisch und auch bestimmt ein bißchen Zeit investiert, was sich positiv bemerkbar macht, eine durchdachte Abfolge, sehr schöne und passend eingebaute Perspektivwechsel - doch, doch: dem anspruchsvollen Thema durchaus angemessen.

Bin mal auf die Umsetzung gespannt.
