Strophe 1:
growing up in normal youth, tasted all a life can give
wealthy parents, lots of friends and of course: tons of fun

in school always on top, the best at sports and parties
all the things you used to do, face it - they are gone


Refrain:
you´re crashed into a whole new life
a life of pain, torture, drugs and sorrow

no more plearuses you were used to feel
bound to a wheel chair, damned to rest in stagnancy


Strophe 2:
a night in june, you´ve gone too far
and confident as always, sure nothing bad can happen

you wanted to impress your girl and drove her home
the home aside the road

Strophe 3:
you know you bear the blame - killed her on the way back home
you know you bear the blame - drank too much and thought you´re sober

so look down and take a look at the chair you´re sitting in
knowing this could be avoided, by simply call a cab

Ich finds jetzt nich hammer, aber auch nich wirklich schlecht...

Also das Thema finde ich gut.
Es gibt verdammt noch mal viel zu viele Jugendliche die sich und andere nach einem Disco-Besuch an den nächsten Baum rammen.

Deine Sprache ist auch nicht übel. Zwar nicht ausgesprochen originell, aber so Sachen wie tons of fun finde ich schon schön.

Wo es für mich langweilig wird ist eher sowas wie Erzählperspektive und Aufbau.
Das ist so einfach chronologisch erzählt - da ist kaum Spannung drin. Versuch doch mal ne andere Anordnung: 1. Besuch in der Disco - tons of fun, friends, girl friend, alcohol. 2. Crash auf der Rückfahrt - Freundin tot - er querschnittsgelähmt. Refrain. 3. Rückblick - wie war das leben früher schön, was kann er alles nicht mehr, was hat er alles für selbstverständlich genommen. Refrain. 4. Er sitzt im Rollstuhl, quält sich mit seiner Schuld, kann nicht schlafen und sieht draußen andere Jugendliche rumrasen - und sich in der gleichen Situation befindend, in der er den Unfall hatte.

Du kannst auch mit der Erzählperspektive spielen. Strophe 1 könnte ein neutraler Beobachter schildern. Stophe 2 aus der Perspektive des Fahrers (Ich-Erzähler). Refrain - neutraler Beobachter. 3. Ich-Erzähler oder neutraler Beobachter. 4. Ich-Erzähler.

Also einfach die ganze Sache spannender, überraschender, dramatischer machen.
