das "now" verlangt eigentlich present progressiv, ich finde das fällt weniger auf, wenn du das "stare" ins gerund setzt, also "now you sit in front of me, staring into space", da dann eine gleichzeitigkeit da ist, in der das "sit" present tense bleiben kann.

Wilbour-cobb hat ja schon drüber geschaut, mir sind trotzdem noch einige Formulierungen aufgefallen:

Würd halt gern mal wissen, ob die Leute verstehen wprüber ich sing...

das mit den Wiederholungen ist ja irgendwie klar...
ist n song... dan kommt noch n solo dazwischen usw...

ich muss gestehen dass ich mit chase the dragon drogen (opium/H) und nicht sex assoziiere.

ich hätte auch eher Drogen im Sinn als Sex.
"you give me peace" kann man ja auch zweideutig sehen

yu wobei es genauer betrachtet doch eine sehr eindeutige assoziation ist..
"whats he doin?" "chasing dragons"

da kann es mit mühe noch um einen drachenkämpfer gehen, aber auch den würde ich mir dann doch mit recht bekifftem blick vorstellen

hab ich mal gelesen und wurde direkt inspiriert das zu schreiben

aba sach mal: wird man da nich sowieso rattenscharf, wenn man H nimmt und ist das dann nicht also - ich meine

nein wird man nicht. heroin killt den sexualtrieb.
zumindest bis man wieder damit aufhört.

frei nach: who needs love when you've got heroin?



(chasing dragon ist in der tat sowas wie ein feststehender begriff, ich war mir nur nicht sicher ob nevermind das auch weiß, daher die vorsichtige formulierung )

chase the dragon heißt glaub ich auch ein album der gruppe magnum...und ein song glaub ich auch...

die meinten aber eher das fangen des drachens...obwohl auch da sicher ein körnchen doppeldeutigkeit mitschwingt.
