Hallo Daniel,
das Romferd ist sicher eins der weniger bekannten und gesuchten Pedale von Pladask.
Deshalb ist es aktuell wohl auch das einzige Pedal bei Pladask, welches nicht out of stock ist.
Dabei ist es sicher nicht minder spannend und vielseitig mit ziemlich außergewöhnlichen Modulationen.
Vielleicht einfach weniger leicht zugänglich. Es gibt auch nicht wirklich viele gute Videos dazu.
Bei mir ist das Problem, ich habe einfach keinen Platz mehr auf dem Board. Selbst OBNE Dweller und Visitor kommen nur selten zum Einsatz.
Ich habe es aber im Hinterkopf und muss mir das Video von Ponderer Sounds nochmal genauer anschauen.

Diese knisternden (Clipping?) Artefakte habe ich bei meinem Baklengs (und in anderen Videos) übrigens nicht bemerkt.

Finde ich gut, denn es ist einfach nur enttäuschend für die Entwickler/Produzenten und wirklich Interessierte, wenn solche Trittbrettfahrer (oder sollte ich sagen: Schmarotzer?) die Teile nur abgreifen, um sie unmittelbar darauf auf Verkaufsplattformen mit heftigem Profit zu verticken.

.. so, seit kurzem ist es hier, das Romferd:
Hinsichtlich Modulation bietet es fast grenzenlose Möglichkeiten, von subtil bis extrem abgefahren.
Es bestätigt meine bisherige Erfahrung, daß die Pladask-Pedale einfach einzigartig sind.
Nichts für jemand, der einen üblichen und einfach einstellbaren Modulations-Effekt sucht.
Es ist auch nicht so, daß man den typischen und gewohnten Vibrato-/Chorus-/Flanger-Effekt bekommt.
Im Vergleich zu OBNE Visitor oder CBA Generation Loss kann man nicht von besser/schlechter sprechen, es ist einfach anders.
Demnächst bekomme ich noch ein Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water. Ich bin gespannt auf den Vergleich.
Letztendlich werden wohl alle bleiben, da jedes Pedal seinen eigenen besonderen Charme hat.

Es gibt News von Pladask. Am 7. April einige kleinere Batches von Baklengs, Draume und Matrise.
Danach wird sich wohl auch das Design der Faceplate ändern (siehe Text vom heutigen Newsletter ).

Due to low stock orders are limited to max 1 unit per customer. Unfortunately many of you will miss out but rest assured that there are major restocks on the schedule for all three pedals. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Read on for the “why?” of the situation.
What is going on?
Our faceplate manufacturers have become inconsistent in terms of cosmetic quality which results in a lot of rejects. Thus the current method of decoration is wasteful, needlessly time consuming and the rejects are hard to recycle (fiberglass). I’ve therefor decided to move to anodized aluminum faceplates. This will be a little more expensive but also less time consuming and less wasteful. The process of transition is taking some time. To bridge the gap I’ve decided to restock our leftover “old-faceplate” stock. I hope this restock can help bridge the gap somehow. Once we’ve transitioned there will be major restocks for BAKLENGS, DRAUME and MATRISE. From my estimates these should be available in May.
What else is new?
We’ve moved to a new and improved workshop (yay!). FALMA v2 is going into production this month. We’re also working on 3 other new designs that I hope to release this year.

Wahrscheinlich gibt es dann aufgrund einer Umstellung des Designs auf Aluminium-Faceplates erstmal für einige Zeit kein Restock vom Fabrikat. Hier der Text vom aktuellen Newsletter:

Purchases are limited to 1 unit per customer.
Please note that all FABRIKAT units from this restock are labeled as B-stock and will be sold at a discount. This is mainly due to the faceplates having minor cosmetic flaws.
I’m moving to aluminum faceplates for all my pedals. This change in material causes a problem for the FABRIKAT interface due to the designs dependence on translucent material (fiberglass). I’ve decided to put FABRIKAT production on indefinite hiatus until a satisfactory solution is found. This means that this will likely be the last chance in quite a while to get a FABRIKAT. There’s also a chance that the design will return looking quite different or that I end up replacing the design entirely with something that I feel fills a similar role.
Why change to aluminum faceplates?

Das Pladask Elektrisk Feber ist als Pladask-Pedal Nr. 8 in meiner Sammlung angekommen. 
Schaltungstechnisch ist es ein zweifacher Ringmodulator mit vielfältigen weiteren Modulations-Möglichkeiten, unter anderem einem Random-Sample&Hold-Generator.
Eine Fundgrube für experimentelle Klangbastler und Schrauber.
Da Knut Olaj derzeit seine Pedalproduktion praktisch im Ein-Mann-Betrieb durchführt, sind Re-Stocks von einigen Pedalen, darunter auch das Feber, erst wieder in 2023 zu erwarten.
Von daher bin ich froh, auf dem Second-Hand-Markt noch eines gefunden zu haben. Videos mit Klangbeispielen werden folgen. Zunächst füge ich mal zwei gute YouTube-Demos an.

Am 26. Februar um 22.00 Uhr wird es Stereo Matrise Matrix Mixer geben. Die werden sicher sehr begehrt und schnell ausverkauft sein. Ein weiteres Batch gibt es wohl erst in 2024.
Für mich ist die Mono-Ausführung des Matrise voll ausreichend, ich werde also nicht am Start sein.

Pladask ist im Moment eine Ein-Mann-Firma. Sehr kleine Batches.
Das Fabrikat wird neu aufgelegt, kommt wahrscheinlich im Verlauf 2023 (oder später).
Gelegentlich gibt es Angebote auf Kleinanzeigen. Etwas häufiger auf Reverb, aber meist völlig überteuert.

Das Etterslep basiert auf dem DRADD Eurorack Modul ("Experimental signal processor"). Sieht spannend, aber auch kompliziert aus.
Ein ausführliches Demo-Video dazu von Aaron Rusch. Definitiv ein Pedal für die experimentellen Soundbastler.

ich hab ja seit kurzem ein baklengs und ein etterslep auf dem board.
das ist ziemlich krass, was man aus dem gitarrensound machen kann.....oder aus einem gitarrensynthesizer sound.
meine bandkollegen schütteln immer den kopf, wenn ich schalte und walte.
es entstehen texturen, die sind wirklich ungewöhnlich.
