At 27, New York City Musician Jon Batiste is considered by many to be one of the most exciting and progressive new crossover talents on the scene today. Jonathan Batiste und seine Band Stay Human sind alles Juilliard Absolventen, welche meistens im Umkreis von New Orleans aufgewachsen sind.


Bei einem Auftritt in einer lokalen US Morning Show, stellt er sich und seine Band vor.

Jonathan Batiste gilt im Moment als das kommende Jazz Talent in den USA und seine letzte CD wird sehr für zumindest eine Grammy Nominierung gehandelt.
Nachdem er seinen Master im Jahre 2011 erlangt hatte, ist das große Anliegen seiner Musik, möglichst viele Menschen mit Jazz und guter Musik vertraut zu machen. ( Social Music)
Das Video mit dem Auftritt in Aspen ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Er und der Moderator tauschen sich über die Entwicklung des Jazz aus, man erfährt einiges über Louis Armstrong etc.
