Thematisch und schöperisch sicherlich kein Novum und auch nicht besonders tiefgründig. Aber das ist eigentlich gar nicht so schlecht, denn dadurch wirkt der Text nicht so "aufgesetzt" wie viele der Blut, Tod, Gnadenlos-Splatter-Texte, die häufig im Forum auftauchen.

Er lässt sich flüssig lesen, was schon mal ein echter Pluspunkt ist.

"That your heart felt like splitting into two"

Da kommt mein Sprachempfinden leicht ins stocken, ohne zu wissen, ob das wirklich falsch ist. Auch in der deutschen Übersetzung käme mir das unvollständig vor.
Keine Ahnung, ob man das "two" so allein stehen lesen kann, ich hätte da irgendwie mindestens ein "pieces" hinter gedacht.

Es ist zwar so wies da steht wirklich nicht ganz richtig, der ausdruck heißt "to split in two", bedeutet aufspalten

Ja, so ein grosses Novum sollte es auch gar nicht werden. Halt einfach ein gaengiger Song 'bout love Ooops, danke fuer die Korrektur, aendere das "into" gleich mal in "in" um. Schoen, jetzt laesst es sich gleich fluessiger lesen ^^

yo, ganz nett.

geht locker rein, dann allerdings auch locker wieder raus, da ja wie schon angesprochen nich sonderlich spektakulär. nu sollte die musik dazu entweder was zum text unpassendes (jedoch nicht fehlplatziertes) sein oder ne echt starke atmosphäre aufweisen, sonst isses einer von sehr sehr sehr vielen songs.

ja, also das waer fuer mich ein song den ich bei ner single auf die b-side packen wuerde (wobei ich manchmal die b-side besser finde als die eigentliche single *g*)
also hier hatte ich melodietechnisch an nichts allzu langsames wischiwaschi balladen maessiges gedacht. eher mehr upbeat. vielleicht sogar etwas discoflair rein. (wer moechte, kann sich gerne an einer melodie probieren )

Okidoki, hier die ersten Resultate.
Teilweise wurden Melodieelemente eingebaut, die ich noch von einer alten, verworfenen Songidee hatte, und bunt gemischt mit neuen Einfällen.
Ich musste an wenigen Stellen minimale Änderungen einführen, damit´s passt.
Den Text siehst du dazu im Gp-File, falls du das nicht hast: Die markierten Stellen kennzeichnen die Veränderungen.

Ich hab jetzt einfach mal eine Verse, einen Prechorus und einen Chorus in den Text hineingeordnet, und damit die Melodie erstellt. Ist natürlich noch ein Rohentwurf, quasi eine musikalische Skizze, genau wie die Akkorde dazu.

(jetzt hab ich mir extra mal ein trial von guitar pro runtergeladen XD)
die melodie find ich gar nicht schlecht. cool
der refrain sollte aber imho noch etwas mehr reinhauen, also sich abheben von den "normalen" strophen ...
und mich wuerde interessieren wie die nummer etwas schneller klingt...vllt. so auf tempo 130 oder 140..?

Sprachlich habe ich noch zwei Sachen (Musik kann ich hier leider nicht hören):

Das ist glaube ich unsinnig: Did you ever hear (Hast Du jemals gehört) a song you used to sing in your childhood days (einen song, den Du aus Deinen Kindertagen kennst).
Natürlich mußt Du den song, den Du aus Deinen Kindertagen kennst, jemals gehört haben. Vielleicht so: Did you recently hear a song (Hast Du neulich einen song gehört...den Du aus Deinen Kindertagen kennst). Wenn Du wegen der Stringenz dieses "Did you ever" beibehalten willst, muß die Konstruktion dann allerdings ne andere sein.

Was soll das denn mit Sünde zu tun haben? Das hört sich in meinen Ohren stark nach Reim-Dich-oder-ich-freß-Dich an. Vielleicht: I think, we´re going into a spin (Ich glaube, wir drehen uns im Kreis) oder: Give our love annother spin (Gib unserer Liebe eine neue Drehung - im Sinne von Chance) oder: you drive me into a flat spin (Du treibst mich in Panik)

Das ist grammatikalisch doppelt gemoppelt: you gonne stay heißt schon (Sag mir) dass Du bleibst. you are gonne stay geht m.E. nicht.

Zu 1) Danke fuer den Hinweis. Eigentlich easy --> "Did you ever hear the song you used to sing in your childhood days" (einfach unbestimmten zu bestimmten Artikel umgewandelt, so sollte es gehen, bezieht sich damit auf irgendein bestimmtes Lied)

Zu 2) Yoah, ist Geschmackssache. Die andern beiden Versionen find ich irgendwie nicht so passend... "Kann denn Liebe Suende sein..." *sing*

Zu 3) Hast recht, istn Schreibfehler, bei den andern "gonna's" hab ichs ja auch ohne "you're" . Hatte zuerst naemlich "tell my heart that you're going to stay" stehen und habs spaeter geaendert, da ist wohl das "you're " haengengeblieben x)

So und nochmal eine editierte Version.

Bleibt trotzdem tautologisch. Übersetzt heißt das: Hast Du jemals den song gehört, den Du seit Kindertagen kennst?
Mit again wird´s was: Have you ever heared the song again you used to sing in your childhood days Also. Hast Du jemals den song wieder (erneut, noch mal) gehört, den Du seit Kindertagen kennst.

Zu den anderen Sachen: okay, klar.
