ein neuer text für meine band,
ist eher was depressives geworden.

meine englisch ist auch schon eingerostet,
also ihr könnt gerne korrigieren.

she´s dressed up in a black gown.

And queen faith she rules alone,
cause king kismet he is gone.

She feels so forlone on her throne
Just like a dog without his bone.



So now queen faith has chosen,
i live among the frozen,
who can´t be satisfied.
can´t be satisfied at all.





All the time that i´v been waiting,
there´s no use in all the hating,
nobodys satisfied,
nobodys satisfied at all.

oh. hm. das kannst du eigentlich nicht selber "entscheiden", dass das so ist oder? also eventuell statt decision eher sowas wie feeling/fear

was mir an dem text gefällt, ist dass sich die queen-king-vergangene jahrhunderte-metaphorik durchzieht,,,,find ich ne schöne verknüpfung zusammen mit was persönlichem aktuellen,,,,,,,,allerdings würde es natürlich noch besser wirken, wenn du sprachlich auch auf dieser stilebene bleiben würdest,,,,aba naja passt auch so

Ich finde den text sehr schön.

Zu der sprachebene, die von nate angesprochen wurde, kann ich nicht wirklich was sagen, außer, dass ich es schön fände, wenn sie eingehalten würde.

there´s no use in all the hating,
-use+sense

was stört dich an dem ausdruck, nate? mir ist das sehr geläufig. Ich benutze das fast immer in einer gerund konstruktion, "there is no use trying.." oder "there is no use crying over spilled milk.."

aber so finde ich das auch OK, da gab es mal einen song "there is no use in loving you"

there is no use = es bringt nix, nützt nix, hat keinen wert
there is no sense= es macht keinen sinn

da hass was ist, was prinzipiell nicht sonderlich lohnend/nützend ist, bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass er letzteres gemeint hat, außerdem empfinde ich "it's no use" als stilistisch relativ low key
