Tag, ich melde mich auch mal wieder, habe einen Song geschrieben der denselben Titel wie ich trägt, erbitte Kritik:

and you could do nothing to avoid that??

There are thousands, who'd love to kick your ass
you're responsible, don't you know?
For all that men that died far away from home,
and what you are has the war us already shown

viel falsch ist nicht, da die meisten zeilen ja einfach aufzählungen sind

der satz macht keinen sinn. ich verstehe auch nicht, was du sagen willst. "du hast deinen sohn nicht geschickt"? dann ist aber nicht klar wohin, und, das ist ja was gutes wenn deren sohn nicht in den krieg musste? Wenn du das sagen willst, dann "You didn't send your son"
look't their corpses, at their faces
"look at", das kann man nicht abkürzen
do you trace?
die frage verstehe ich auch nicht? "trace out" ist aufspüren.

"break through" ist "durchbrechen" im sinne von "ausfallen" oder "die feindlichen linien durchbrechen"

das "that" kann raus

and you could do nothing to avoid that??
"it" statt "that", "could do nothing" ist nicht gut, "couldn't do anything" würde man hier sagen

There are thousands, who'd love to kick your ass
you're responsible, don't you know?
"responsible" braucht ein "wofür"
For all that men that died far away from home,
"for all men who died..."
and what you are has the war us already shown
"..and the war has already shown to us who you are

der zusammenhang ist nicht klar

you're responsible (for that), don't you know? hab mich schlaugemacht, responsible for heißt verantwortlich für, nur responsible kann auch einfach verantwortlich heißen.
For all that men who died far away from home, grammatikalisch geht that auch, aber who ist besser stimmt
and what you are has the war us already shown gibts noch ne andere möglichkeit, shown muss hinten stehen sonst ist der reim weg

achso, ist aber leider nicht richtig, hier brauchst du kein conditional perfekt, da du keinen bedingungssatz hast. also einfach "you would not send your son"

fast....present tense weist ja auf ein regelmässiges ereignis hin. also entweder "your world is bursting", dann knallt es in diesem augenblick, oder "..will burst", dann knallt es bald

you're responsible (for that), don't you know? hab mich schlaugemacht, responsible for heißt verantwortlich für, nur responsible kann auch einfach verantwortlich heißen. nene, das passt nicht ganz. es muss nicht zwingend "responsible for" sein, aber auf irgendwas muss die verantwortlichkeit inhaltlich bezogen sein. "verantwortlich sein" im allgemeinen sinne ist "to take responsibility" oder "to be" oder "to be held responsible"
For all that men who died far away from home, grammatikalisch geht that auch, aber who ist besser stimmt nein, wir sprechen hier englisch und kein amerikanisch........aber das "that" muss raus, das ist falsch. entweder "those", am besten aber gar nix. wenn du auf das "that" bestehst, lass es drin, ich würde das nie nehmen sagen.

hmmm.....nein. entweder das "to us" ist hinten "the war". "shown" und "home" reimt sich aber eh nur soslala. retten könntest du es, in dem du sowas sagst wie "wird gezeigt werden", also "...will be shown. aber dann kann kein "to us" mit rein, dass muss ans ende.

"save your ass" heisst nicht "wehren". und du sollest einen zuammenhang herstellen. also: "but god won't help you when you are the one to be saved" oder so...

besser

oder auch
"and what you are, war has already shown"

Wobei du das "what" auch durch ein "who" ersetzern könntest, das versteht man auch so was gemeint ist.

Insgesamt finde ich den Text (nach Korrektur der Grammatikfehler ) recht gut. Ich würde gerne mal ne Vertonung davon hören.

nur noch kleinkrams, du hst es fast geschafft.....

besser, "you will take..."

fast....."and who you are war has already shown" es geht ja um eine person, da muss im englisch immer "who". dieses "was du bist" gibt es im englischen nur mit "who". "das ist was du bist" - "this is who you are"

und dann die SVO - Subjekt Verb Objekt-Regel, die kann man im englischen niemals trennen. also "war (S) has shown (V) tu us (O), obwohl es in deinem fall kein objekt gibt. weglassen geht in nebensätzen, aber niemals umstellen!

wenn du jetzt verrätst, was du mit "act" meinst, ist der text fehlerfrei
