Luckie, was soll an Pinball Wizard so herausragend sein? Das ist weder poetisch, noch hat es eine besondere Tiefe. Aber gerade dies sind doch m.E. die Kriterien, die Lyrics herausstechen lassen. Selbstverständlich fällt mir dazu ein Beispiel ein, nämlich 'A thousand years' von Sting oder auch 'Village ghetto land' von Stevie Wonder, wenn`s doch eher frühere/alte Songs sein sollen. Von beiden Künstlern kann man übrigens problemlos und leicht weitere Titel nennen, zu denen der Ausdruck Iconic gut passen würde. Sofort fällt mir 'The book of my life' ein und auch 'Saturn'....

bitte auf die startseite!

in diesem sub finden das doch nicht so viele, wie ich mir wünschen würde, damit möglichst viele gute lyrics auch aus sub genre des rock, die man nicht direkt als rock einordnen würde, zusammenkommen.
auch rockmusiker die auch super pop songs geschrieben haben würde ich mir hier wünschen.
