The Trojans: Gaelic / Celtic Ska

Ich hab ein Riesenproblem......

Ich weiß nicht, wo ich die Trojans hinpacken soll. Ska in Folkbesetzung, mit typischen "irish-folkigen" Melodien, ich hab mich mal für dieses Forum entschieden, viele Skaler kennen die Trojans und für Folkers sind sie evtl. ebenfalls sehr interessant

Specialising in ska & reggae with a dash of soul, funk, R&B, irish folk and world roots, The Trojans were formed in late 1986 by the elder son of British Blues legend John Mayall. Several albums were licensed to Japan from '88 with 'Spirit of Adventure' on Sony records, opening up an avenue of succesive tours with mainstream coverage to a large audience where they are still very popular today.

Mein persönliches Fazit:

Ich könnte es absolut nicht jeden Tag hören, es ist aber eine interessante und faszinierende Mischung, lohnt sich, mal reinzuhören. Die "Celtic Ska" LP sorgt auf jeden Fall für gute Laune.
