jaja, ich sing immer über dasselbe. diesmal hab' ich aber noch versucht ein wenig antikapitalismus einfließen zulassen.
wie immer würdet ihr mich mit jeder art von feedback beglücken

spezielle bedenken habe ich mit den "alright alright" und "yeah yeah", da würde ich mich über jeden native freuen der mir sagt, ob das auch im englischen sinne "jaja leck mich am arsch" bedeutet (oder eben nicht). aber seht einfach selbst.

achja: der song beginnt und endet übrigens mit einen glucksen, als wenn eben ein tropfen ins wasser fällt.

mit engaged with meinte ich eher soetwas wie "beschäftigt sein mit". bin mir aber nicht sicher. vielleicht doch eher occupied with oder so? was meint ihr?

Sprachlich fällt mir daran jetzt nichts mehr auf, kannst von mir nur inhaltliches Feedback bekommen - und das fällt sehr positiv aus.
Die Idee ist natürlich nicht besonders innovativ, aber du schaffst es eine sehr intime Atmosphäre aufzubauen. Der Leser wird hineingesogen, man kann sich sofort identifizieren oder eben auch absolut nicht - man gerät zumindest ins Nachdenken. Deine Wortwahl ist sehr schön, ohne dabei abgehoben zu klingen. Kurzum: Sehr schöner Text!

Kann man von dir eigentlich auch irgendwas vertontes hören?

bezüglich deiner frage: derzeit leider noch nicht - bin noch auf der suche nach den richtigen leuten für eine band (soll mal irgendwann 'was ernstes werden, vielleicht richtung radiohead/coldplay). ich denke aber, dass ich bald für diesen song gesangsmelodie + gitarre aufnehmen werde, also sozusagen 'ne lofi demo . mal schaun, ich werd mich melden.

Da ist mir auch im Deutschen nicht klar, was Du damit meinst ... Geht es in Richtung: die starren alle auf den Boden (und wollen gar nicht mitkriegen, was um sie herum vorgeht)?
engaged in würde ich eher so übersetzen, dass die quasi den Boden erforschen, also sich mit dem Boden als ein Thema oder einen Gegenstand beschäftigen ... ähnliches bei der Formulierung be busy with, wobei man da auf etwas kommen könnte wie: (being) busy with staring at the ground oder busy with staring down oder man könnte sowas nehmen wie self-engaged (also quasi so was wie gefangen sein von) self-engaged in staring down oder at the ground oder so ...

da x riff schon ausführliche die zeilen analysiert hat, geb ich dir einfach mein lese-stimmungsfeedback wieder:

ist wirklich toll!
du (und im übigen auch morbo oder cherrypunk, die stile ähneln sich bisweilen) hast irgendwie ne freie art zu zu schreiben. der text wirkt sehr leicht. die worte sind nie brachial oder zwanghaft eingepasst. das find ich toll.
Thema ist ebenfalls passend.

@ riff, danke fürs aufmerksam machen. werde die 3 genannten stellen ändern, wobei mir self engaged oder busy with auch nicht so richtig gefallen will. vielleicht probier ichs mal mit deal with oder so. es muss doch ein passendes wort geben, das einfach "beschäftigt sein mit" bedeutet.. mmhh...

hey Phizzèl,
ein Feedback gebe ich dir natürlich auch auf deinen Text. Das still- beobachtende, das sanfte, oft passive- oft unbeteiligt wirkende Element in deinen Texten hat eine beruhigende Wirkung.
Deine Texte besitzen eine unaufgeregte Reife, die man einer so jungen Person nicht zutraut.
Das verwirrt mich immer wieder. Und lässt mich meinen Hut um so tiefer vor dir und deinem Talent ziehen.
Selbst engagierte Texte haben eine subversive Kraft und graben sich mühelos und zuckersüß zwischen den Ohren ein.
Hoffentlich kriegst du das mit der adäquaten Umsetzung auf die Reihe.
Hoffentlich findest du Leute, die deine Vorlagen optimal featuren.
