Hi,
Hier mein neuester...
Auf einer Zugfahrt entstanden.
Es geht darum, dass jemand mit der Situation überhaupt nicht klarkommt und Abschied nehmen muss. Alles mit dem Hintergedanken "Is the new world gonna be a better one?"

Yesterday, I felt like being an alien,

der beschreibung nach klang das ja nach selbstmord,,,,ich find der text klingt eher nach einem, der da noch so einige vorher draufgehen lässt?

Äh - der Beschreibung nach klang das für mich nach jemandem, der einfach seine Vergangenheit hinter sich läßt, weggeht und irgendwo völlig neu anfängt.

Ich find auch nicht, dass das jetzt so nach nem Selbstmordattentäter klingt, der noch ein paar weitere Leute mit in den Tod reißt oder so ...

Ich find das alles soweit stimmig - allerdings diese Frage danach, ob das Neue, das das lyrische Ich sich schaffen wird, unbedingt "a better place to be" sein wird, kommt eigentlich kaum oder gar nicht vor. Das lyrische Ich scheint eher sehr überzeugt zu sein, dass er/sie "Geschichte schreiben wird" und ist eher ziemlich überzeugt, dass es klappt. Also es kommen imho recht wenig Zweifel rüber an der Zukunft. Muss ja auch nicht. Wollte es nur anmerken, da es in der Einführung so angekündigt war.

Die Idee finde ich gut, aber die Situation ist zu "hart" dargestellt... Es ist nicht so einfach, alles zu vergessen und "Tschüss, auf Nimmerwiedersehen" zu sagen, für manche vllt. schon^^... Natürlich kannst du jetzt nicht alles ändern, ist klar^^... Aber vllt. könntest du noch irgendwo ein Wort/einen Satz 'reinbringen, in dem man sieht, dass das Verlassen einem nicht so einfach fällt. Ist aber nur ein Vorschlag^^...

Das mit dem Alien finde ich, passt nicht so gut 'rein...
Und statt "I have to go" besser "I got to go", klingt irgendwie besser...

Übrigens habe ich einen ähnlichen Text/Song geschrieben...
Wäre cool, wenn ihr mal unter Hörproben--->Rock/Progressive 'reinhört... Ich will auch mal Kritik! Danke schon mal im Vorraus^^...

So hab da jetzt noch auf anregung von lovegundingsda reingebracht wie schwer mir dann doch der abschied gefallen ist. Sonst bin ich eigentlich ganz zufrieden...
@nate: die musikalische untermalung wird einfach nich so depri, dann wirst du schon nicht mehr an selbstmord denken

Ein paar kleinere Anmerkungen habe ich noch, ansonsten gefällt mir der Text schon echt gut Und ich finde, ein Neuanfang kann auch durchaus etwas Positives haben. Brücken abzureißen kann ja auch etwas befreiendes haben.

"escape from the problem" wäre aber nicht grundlegend falsch, nur unschön
