Zeigt her eure Setlist

Ich hätte zum Thema Setlists mal eine Frage.

Undzwar ist es üblich, dass Coverbands vielleicht nur mal so zur Abwechslung (ohne ne Tribute-Band zu sein) ne Setlist von einem Interpreten zu spielen?

Zum Beispiel einfach mal so 14 Songs nur für Guns N' Roses?

Nein, üblich ist das sicherlich nicht, aber erlaubt ist alles, was Spaß macht. Niemand schreibt mir eine Setlist vor, Wünsche werden natürlich berücksichtigt.
Mit unserer großen Projektcoverband haben wir allerdings in letzter Zeit öfter mal ganze Blöcke, also 30-60min von einem Interpreten/Band eingebaut, was ganz gut ankam. Das absolute Highlight war ein 60min Block Michael Jackson Tribute. Bei unserem traditionellen Weihnachtsgig letztes Jahr haben wir zu Ehren Steve Lee eine halbe Stunde Gotthard-Songs gespielt, aber auch ein Pink-Block von 30-45min ist jetzt schon ein paar mal dabei gewesen, weil er unheimlich gut ankommt, genauso wie Bon Jovi.

Ein bißchen schade, daß wir dieses Jahr keinen Marathongig mit mehr als drei Sets mehr spielen. Oder überhaupt mal drei anständig lange Sets plus Zugaben vollständig, also, ohne daß wir aufgrund von irgendwelchem zeitlichen Mißmanagement wieder was rausschmeißen müssen.

Viel verändert hat sich in den letzten Monaten bei uns nicht. Neuzugänge der Saison sind:

• All Around The World (Lisa Stansfield) - mittlerweile die Lieblingsnummer der Band und der Beweis, daß Streicher nicht nur für Hintergrundteppiche gut sind
• Get Down On It (Kool & The Gang) - könnte 'ne gute Publikums-Anheiznummer sein, wenn wir denn mal ein brauchbares Publikum hätten
• Lady Love Me (George Benson) - war aber auf noch keiner Bühne
• Turn Your Love Around (George Benson) - wir sind wahrscheinlich Hamburgs einzige Band, die drei George-Benson-Nummern spielt; die meisten Leute kennen den gar nicht und diesen Song erst recht nicht
• Kiss (ca. 70% Prince, 20% Tom Jones, 10% Eigenes und 0% Art Of Noise) - 80er-Minimal-Funk ist mal was anderes

Na das ist mal ne Setlist nach meinem Geschmack. Wenn Ihr mal Ecke Hannover spielt, musst Du unbedingt Bescheid sagen!

Vor allem ein paar nette Exoten dabei, die kaum ne Coverband spielt,

eigentlich war das ja mal als reine Bluesband geplant. Da ist die Fangemeinde allerdings "relativ bescheiden", zumindest im Vergleich zu sonstigen Coverbands. Es gibt natürlich Bluesfans, die bringen dann ihre ganzen Bekannten/Verwandten mit. Dann spielst du 2 Stunden lang Blues um dann festzustellen, dass das Interesse irgendwie nachlässt.
Irgendwie kann ich das sogar verstehen, geht mir ja selber auch so. Ist ja immer irgendwie dasselbe (haut mich bloß nicht)

Dann haben wir begonnen auch andere Titel mit reinzunehmen. Rockigere Sachen, etwas Funk und auch etwas sanftere Titeil wie z.B. von Sheryl Crow. Und dann haben wir noch Bläser mit dazugenommen - das gibt nicht nur einen schönen Druck, sondern groovt auch gewaltig
Seitdem kommen auch mehr Leute
Aber nach Hannover reichts nicht
