Wenn der Rob Flynn der von Machine Head ist, dann spielt er fast immer eine Gibson Flying V, wenn eine Kamera ihn filmt. Die Jackson heißt Soloist. Und der andere Gitarrist spielt übrigens garantiert live meist Jackson King V oder RR.
Und ja, Mustaine spielt ESP. Früher Jackson King V, heute dasselbe, nur mit ESP-Kopfplatte

Krass, du hast recht. Die hat ja auch fast die gleiche Kopfplatte, wie die normale Gibson. Und Korpus ist auch gleich. Also da hätt er auch gleich ne Gibson nehmen können.

I have been a huge fan and player of Jackson guitars for years now, in no small part to Dave Mustaine and Marty Freidman's use of them. They have always felt like an old friend to me, and I still play them to this day. I've heard rumors and heresay as to why Dave went over to ESP, having to do with the Fender buyout and whatnot, but I'd like to know the truth from-why the change after all these years?

I have received this question from quite a number of fans...so you're not alone in wondering about this subject Mr. Evans! I asked Dave Mustaine about why he made the switch from Jackson to ESP, and he said that back a few years ago he tried to buy Jackson Guitars three times when they went on the market, but Jackson backed out every time. Ultimately Fender ended up buying Jackson (as you know). Dave said, "Once Fender had bought Jackson Guitars, they met with me to talk about my contract and said that they are offering me the same standard contract that all of their endorsers get, including Eric Clapton, and that was only one guitar a year. After getting 11 guitars a year, and then dropping down to one, it was obvious that I needed to go elsewhere. Plus, I knew that the quality would change once they went from a small shop to a major run organization. I am happy where I am at now and I wish Fender the best with Jackson."
