Mir egal, ich bin auch so mehr als zufrieden mit meine MP11 Tastatur

Jetzt seit mal nicht so schnell mit Eurem Urteil. Mirojan hat schon mehrfach in diesem Faden geschrieben und auch Hilfestellung gegeben.

Hi everyone. Sorry for writing in english. New MP11 owner here. Mine is about 6 years old. Bought it used. I'm also an MP6 owner -11 years old, also bought used. Different horses. Both very good stage pianos.

While I'm getting used to the GF action of MP 11, I realized that there are some small problems.
From the 4th octave onwards nearly all of the black keys make a loud release noise like a fallback noise - it's not the fallback setting from the menu even if it sounds similar. Before that point all the black keys are nice and quiet. All the white keys accross the board are very quiet. Could be something with the casing, the balance rail or is it something "normal" and "acceptable" for the GF action?

Also the let off is very different to the one of the MP6 RH action - much more discreet and at times non existent - but it's also very incosistent around the keybed (it's absolutelly randomly spread). I think this is not how it was designed.

Any ideas how can I sort out these slight problems?

I'm not dissatisfied with MP 11 (excellent DP and a joy to play) and these small problems don't really obstruct my playing.
It's just that I would like to know if I can make it equally silent and consistent throughout the keybed, just for the sake of it.

I'm quite handy with instruments repairs so a visit to authorized repair shops etc. is out of question for seeking an issue. Before I experiment I would like to know if there are any other MP owners who have faced such problems and have found a solution.

Thanks for the reply Stuckl. What is the "scanner" board? Do you mean the fall board or something else? Could you please describe it or show it to me on a picture. I have no problem with the electronics or contacts or whatever. It's just a noise (like a fallboard noise) even when the keyboard is shut.

Mein Eindruck ist leider "klassisches Clickbait" und eine werbende Sprache zur Akquise von Aufträgen für den undokumentierten Umbau und die weitere angebliche Tätigkeit.

Um eine Verbesserung des Spielgefühls auf "nahe Konzertflügel" irgendwie erahnen zu können bräuchte es Messdaten zu Nieder- und Aufgewicht und zu den MIDI-Aussagen. Dann bräuchte es natürlich Fotos, die bei Kundenaufträgen als Arbeitsdokumentation m.E. selbstverständlich wären. Außerdem fände ich Videos mit musikalischen Beispielen sinnvoll, um den Erfolg des erheblichen Aufwands irgendwie zu dokumentieren.

Die im Link oben genannten Erfinder des Umbaus Ravenworksdigital hat es inzwischen offenbar zerlegt, Domain aufgegeben und Facebook "derzeit geschlossen".
Bleibt der Hinweis an Alle, dass wesentliche und soweit ich mich an die Beschreibung der Tastenbastelei von Ravencroftdigital erinnere auch gut ziterbare Inhalte in einen Beitrag gehören und nicht nur als Link zu einem Kleinstbetrieb - bei großen Herstellern liegt der Fall natürlich anders.

I can't say more, i dont even know if scanner board is the right word.

Would be better if you'd contact the kawai service.

Quatsch

Man braucht auch keine Messdaten... Was will man Messen außer Tastengewichtung...
Bis heute bleibt die Tastatur gleich leicht auf ganzer Länge...
Also konstante Gewichtung auf ganzes Manual...
Der Umbau diente genau für diesen Zweck, um Schwergängige Tasten zu verhindern.
Ich habe den MP11 noch nicht ein zweites Mal aufgemacht, weil mir die Zeit dazu fällt.
Ich müsste aber nachschauen weil 2 tasten sind etwas lauter geworden…
Und ich möchte auch wissen ob sie sind auf Grund meines Umbaus laut geworden oder, verschleiß anderer Teile. Hier denke ich vielleicht an die Filze…
Aber wie gesagt keine Zeit nachzugucken. Ich bin Beruflich sehr ausgelastet….
Ich jedenfalls bereue den Umbau bis jetzt nicht.
Ich wundere mich nicht, dass man von der Ravenscroft Umbau-Firma nichts mehr zu hören ist.
Wie oft baut man ein MP11 für 5000-6000 € um… Wer macht das schon?
