Release Thread

Ich habe mir mal so gedacht, warum nicht mal einen Thread aufmachen in dem man über alle möglichen neuen Releases diskutieren kann.
Das ist doch besser als wenn für jedes Album (oder meinetwegen Sampler, Single etc.) ein neuer Thread aufgemacht wird.
Andererseits hat der Thread auch eine "Empfehlungsfunktion".
Da es hier dann ja um neue Singles oder ganze Alben geht wäre es aber schon besser man geht etwas mehr ins Detail.
Den Stil beschreiben, was man vom Album erwartet, was man vom bisher veröffentlichten Material hält usw.
Auch erwähnen kann man natürlich den VÖ und evtl. baldige auftritte der erwähnten Band, wenn man etwas darüber weiß.
Dann fang ich mal an:

Band: Caliban vs. Heaven Shall Burn - The Split Program
VÖ: bereits erschienen
Stil: Zu Caliban kann ich nicht viel sagen, mochte sie nie, hat sich auch nicht geändert. Netter Metalcore, zu belanglos für meine Ohren.
Der Heaven Shall Burn Beitrag dagegen hat mich echt vom Hocker gerissen. Sehr starke Death und Black Metal Einflüsse, ein hysterisch schreiender Shouter, dennoch immer wieder die HC typischen Beatdowns eingestreut. Leider nur 3 Songs plus ein Discoklassiker, das ältere "One More Lie"

Eure Meinungen sind gefragt

Und postet ruhig fleissig weitere Releases.

Zum Album: Eigentlich typisch caliban, metalcore, aber sie haun richtig rein. Das Album hat 12 Tracks davon könnt ihr einen auf www.roadrunnerrecords.de /com laden.Das Album hat mich nicht vom hocker gerissen, is ganz nett aber auch nichts aufregendes bzw. neues. Empfehlung für Metalcore hörer: aufjedenfall!

Nevertheless, what Mr. Beast ain't is Young Team (Reprise), as Braithwaite and company also strove to expand their sonic horizons with this latest release. Since the band's inception, says Stuart, "we knew we were in this for the long haul and we knew we wanted to be making worthwhile, important music until the day our hands stop working, so it serves our purpose to challenge ourselves, on every level." And a noble pursuit that is.

Recorded in Mogwai's Castle of Doom studios and produced by Tony Doogan, Mr. Beast features contributions from composer Craig Armstrong, who lends keyboards to the track "I Chose Horses", and Tetsuya Fukagawa of Japanese post-hardcore epic-mongers Envy (signed to Mogwai's own Rock Action label), who shares his lovely vocals on the same track.
