Roland VR-760: Syntie brauchbar oder ein Witz?

Hallo

Ich hab schon einen anderen Thread über das VR-760 eröffnet, die Orgel und das E-Piano sollen ja ganz geil sein.

NUR: Geile Orgel und e-Pianos hat auch das Nord Electro, welches etwas günstiger ist. Das VR-760 gefällt mir aber besser und hat zutätzlich noch einen Sytie an Bord - ein für mich nicht unwichtiges Feature, brauche ich doch noch oft Streicher und Pads. Die Frage ist jetzt einfach, kann man den Sytie im VR-760 brauchen, oder soll ich lieber ein Nord Electro kaufen und mit der Preisdiferenz ein günstiges Syntie-Modul??? Wenn ja, was gäbe es da gutes? Ich brauch nichts zum programieren, aber ein gut klingender Life-Syntie mit Flächensounds und so...

Leider hat mein Händler (und alle anderen in der Umgebung) das keyboard nicht mehr...hoffenlihc bekommen die das wieder mal!

Gesucht hab ich schon ein paar mal nach dem 760er, aber über den Syntie hat eben noch niemand etwas gesagt, darum ja meine Frage hier...wer hat das schon ausprobieren können? Es sollen ja nur 18 Sounds insgesammt sein - nicht gerade viel, wie sind die denn? Kann ich die individuell anpassen???

Entsprechend Harmony-Central:

"Now for the synth section, quite frankly Roland forces you to buy the SRX boards because the section is basically useless otherwise. Well you get some strings which sound okay and thats about it (okay you also get scat singing, basses, cheezy pads, and horrible brass ... none of which I will use). So do yourself a favor and buy an expansion card ... it's an absolute must. I picked up the SRX-07 Ultimate Keys which all I will say here is that it helps out a lot. "

The vocal sounds include Roland's jazz scat samples, which I really like though they're probably not something you'd use all the time. The lead sounds are awful. Es gibt also eher durchwachsene Meinungen - und Synth scheint nicht die Stärke des VR-760 zu sein - sondern seine Flexibilität

Hmm, also nichts spezielles, aber durchaus brauchbar....


Also der Syntie im VR-760...ist das wirklich ein Syntie, oder werden dann einfach Samples abgespielt? Ich meine, wenn ich so ein Expansions-Teil reinschiebe, dann hab ich ja auch einfach ein paar Samples mehr, aber ein wirklicher Syntie ist das ja nicht....oder versteh ich da was falsch?

Ist natürlich eher ne Perset Schleuder, ganz neue Klänge kann man da nicht erstellen. Aber um mal Harmony Central zu zitieren: "The synth can really be tweaked, Attack, Release, Cutoff, Resonance and Effects have there own knobs"
Also sind schon genug Parameter zum editieren da, das sind auch die gebräuchlichsten!
