ToneSpeak Guitar Speakers - neue Lautsprecher für Gitarren Amps

Hallo,


ich wollte euch mal darauf aufmerksam machen, dass es einen relativ neuen Anbieter von Gitarren Lautsprechern gibt, nämlich ToneSpeak.

Derzeit befinden sich 5 verschiedene Speaker im ToneSpeak Sortiment:



- Austin 1250 - 12" Guitar Speaker, 50 Watt:

Vintage American roots, improved with modern design and build techniques.

Balance, punch, fullness, and clarity are at the forefront of this speaker. The mids are tailored and even, enabling the articulation, openness, air, and a nice glassiness to shine through in the highs. The tight, solid, and responsive lows round out the tone and perfectly balance the detail in the highs. A very musical speaker optimized for the ever so popular Deluxe Reverb, but suitable anywhere you want pure American tone.




- New Orleans 1250 - 12" Guitar Speaker, 50 Watt:

A ToneSpeak original hemp cone is the basis for this modern American tone.

Hemp cone speakers have become popular for taming bright, harsh, ear-fatiguing amps and guitars. The warm, woody, smooth, organic qualities of the material are heavily embodied in this speaker. It’s full and defined in the lows, very natural in the mids, and warm, smooth, and creamy in the highs. While a darker tone was desired here, the focus was to eliminate the associated muddiness. This speaker retains good clarity and definition with the gain knob. It’s the perfect speaker for both the Blues and for country chicken pickin’.




- Birmingham 1275 - 12" Guitar Speaker, 75 Watt:

Classic British rock tone, inspired by tones from the ‘60s and ‘70s.

This speaker has a personality all its own, with balance from top to bottom and rich harmonic complexity. Good punch and definition in the lows that won’t get flabby, a warm, throaty, and broad midrange, and nice grit with soaring articulation in the highs.




- Liverpool 1275 - 12" Guitar Speaker, 75 Watt

A speaker truly worthy of The Crown!

The Liverpool 1275 is the classic British rock tone, inspired by tones from the 80’s. A complex, thick and vocal midrange cuts through the upper-register, while nice, full, lower-mid grunt completes the warm, gutsy, tight lows. The highs, while clear, open and articulate remain warm and ear pleasing.




- Manchester 1290 - 12" Guitar Speaker, 90 Watt:

Cleaner, higher power British tone.

Even and balanced from top to bottom. No sacrifice in tone for using higher power and/or higher gain with this speaker, it is crammed full of balance, definition, and most importantly, control. This speaker plays well with pedals and is slow to break up.




ToneSpeak wurde von Anthony Lucas und Josh Martin, zwei ehemalige Eminence Mitarbeiter, ins Leben gerufen.




Gefertigt werden die Speaker von der US Firma Firma Misco:

Bisher habe ich über diese Speaker hier im Forum nichts gelesen.

Hat vielleicht einer von euch schon einen ToneSpeak Speaker ausprobiert und möchte seine Erfahrungen schildern?
Das würde mich freuen.

Mich persönlich interessieren die beiden "Briten", der Liverpool und der Birmingham, und ich bin schon am Überlegen, ob ich mal einen bestellen soll.
Ich bin nur nie ein großer Fan von Eminence Speakern gewesen und kann es aktuell so gar nicht einschätzen, ob die ähnlich oder doch ganz anders sind.

Grundsätzlich finde ich es aber super, dass es weitere Gitarrenspeaker am Markt gibt.
Die Speaker von ToneSpeak sind mittlerweile auch in Deutschland erhältlich - zwar nicht ganz günstig, aber möglicherweise doch das Geld wert.
Gerade, wenn man bedenkt, wie viel Anteil der/die Speaker am Gesamtsound hat/haben.
Vielleicht findet hier jemand von euch "seinen" Sound.

@Myxin , danke für deine Info, hatte erst nur die Bilder gesehen,
dachte mir mmh neue Speaker , sehen aus wie Eminence.
Und richtig dann habe ich auch Anthony Lucas gelesen, mit ihm hatte
ich mal einen sehr netten E-Mail Kontakt. Es ging damals um Mod- 12
Speaker und eine TT-Box ,beides wurde es.
Die Box habe ich heute noch mit den Speakern und betreibe sie mit einem
Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 60.

Anthony hat bei TGP geschrieben:

"I worked for Eminence for 26 years. Most of it in product design. Josh Martin (sales) and I were let go from Eminence last July when they decided to downsize during the pandemic. We partnered with Misco to create ToneSpeak. Josh and I have other jobs now, but our passion is guitar tone and designing and producing the best guitar speakers on the planet. We couldn't imagine not working with musicians anymore."

Und auch dort hat ein User seinen Support gelobt:

"One of the nicest guys in the business. Always answered my email questions, sometimes the same day I sent it. Hard to believe Eminence would let you go. Wow."

Manche werden natürlich diese vollmundigen Versprechungen von wegen "die besten Speaker der Welt" und "die allerbesten Materialien, die man kaufen kann" belächeln - ich muss aber zugeben, dass mich das ein bisschen neugierig macht.
Andererseits habe ich schon so viele Speaker, mit denen ich sehr zufrieden bin und "brauche" nicht wirklich neue.
Aber ihr kennt das ja...
