Servus! Da ich hier neu bin, weiß net ob hier der Platz für meine Frage ist. Bitte entschuldigen sie mich, und ich bitte die Moderatoren sollten mein Thema anderswo versetzen, wenn nötig...

Ich hätte folgende Frage: Wo kann ich mir ne Kramer Gitarre herkaufen, Modell Kramer Vanguard. Auf musicyo.com gibts solche Gitarren, aber sie können mir dir Gitarre nicht nach Bulgarien zuschicken. Weiß jemand, `nen deutschen dealer dieser Marke?

Kein Spezialist, nur ein Fan

In England gibt es ein Paar Händler, mach eine EU-weite suche auf Ebay (auch in shops) und du dürftest genug Anbieter finden. Eine Bestellung aus England ist problemlos, da auch EU und somit kein Zoll etc. fällig.

Musik Produktiv hat sie immer noch im Katalog, vielleicht vertreiben sie sie wieder. Nachfragen kostet jedenfalls nichts.

Ach ja: warum können sie Dir die Gitte nicht nach Bulgarien schicken? Die verschicken eigentlich weltweit

Eigentlich ist die Gitarre nicht für mich, sondern für`nen Kumpel aus Áúëãàðñêèÿò ôîðóì çà ìóçèêàíòè (Powered by Invision Power Board), das bulgarische Forum für Musiker. Er und noch ein paar Leute da haben erfahrung mit musicyo.com, die Händler sagten, sie arbeiten nicht mit Bulgarien oder so was...Er bat um hilfe und da ich dieses Forum kenne, wollte ich probieren, ob mir jemand hier hilft. Erstens danke, dass ihr so schnell drauf geantwortet habt. In Musik Produktiv sehe ich keine Kramer...leider. Ich kann aber sie nachfragen, wie du sagst...
Noch was. Welche Kramer hast du gespielt? Im Moment brauch ich keine neue Gitarre, da ich mir `nen Squier Showmaster (HSS) im Sommer besorgt hab, aber ich würde gerne wissen, was meinste, ist Kramer besser als Squier z.B.? Oder man kann es so leicht nicht schätzen, natürlich es hängt vom Modell ab...
Und letztens: Ich freu mich sehr drüber, dass ich dieses forum gefundn hab. Ist ja vieles drin...man kann sicher viel neues erfahrn...

Hello guys, at first excuse me that I have to write in English but my German is just horrible - I used an online translation service to be able read your posts.

I am that guy who is in a search of a Kramer Vanguard S-440s and I thank Tannen for starting this topic for me.
Vanguard S-440s are Korean-made V-shaped Kramers that look and play awesome. I want such a guitar because I think that Veanguards are prettier and better than the Jackson Rhoads guitars in the same low end class.

I am looking for one now and things are getting hopeless because MusicYou.com (one of the few Kramer delaers) do not ship goods to Bulgaria and even if they did, I'd have to pay customs taxes and VAT.

In brief: I am looking for an online dealer that is located in the European Union (so to avoid the aforementioned taxes).
I was hoping that there were Kramer dealers in Germany and I would like to ask you if you know of any.

There are two problems here:
The guitar offered on that site is an expensive vintage Vanguard, not a cheap Korean model.
Also, Switzerland is not in the European Union, so i will have to pay customs taxes and VAT if I order from this country.

Vanguard S-440s are Korean-made V-shaped Kramers

I think the Korean line is history. The previous line of Vanguards was made in China and the contemporary line is made in Indonesia.

Yeah, unfortunately for me, Switzerland is not a member country of the European union.
They had a referendum there and people voted against the accession of the country to the EU.
Most probably they wanted to keep their famous banks under their own control.
Smart!

Also meiner Meinung nach ist ein Besen besser als Squier (sorry ). Die Kramer sind es allemal, auch die allerbilligsten. Die Focus Reihe von Yo ist in etwa auf dem gleichen Level, jedoch billiger.

Ich habe fast alle gespielt, von Yo hab ich die SG-Kopie und eine Striker422. Beide sehr gut fürs Geld, wenn auch im unteren Preissegment angesiedelt. Dann auch noch eine leckere Van Halen '84 reissue, aber das ist die etwas bessere (entsprechend teurere) Variante. Von den alten habe ich dann noch eine 80er Focus 4000 RRV und eine 70er Aluhals DMZ-1000.

Das ist weil MusicYo eigentlich nur direkt verkaufen wollen und daher nur mit sehr wenigen Händlern kooperieren.

Finnenshredder from this board here had a Vanguard, but he already sold it...

I would say you should take a look in ebay, I think there are some Kramer's.

Hello guys, I tried searching on ebay USA and on ebay. Co. UK and there are no any Kramer Vanguard S-400S guitars for sale on there.
There are many people who are selling their vintage 1980's Vangaurds on eBay but they are kind of useless to me. Not only because they are ridiculously expensive due to their collectible value but also because I think they are old and look bad.
Call me crazy, but I find the new, fresh looking Korean models much cooler than those old and worn out things on eBay.:screwy:
In other words: I am not a collector.
It tmay sound like blasphey to some of you but: WHo needs a beat up "vintage" guitar after all?

Yes, I Googled hard with no luck at all.
It is freking strange but it sems that no company imports Vanguard S-400S in the European Union.
I found several Russian online stores that offer them but I cannot order from Russsia - they are not in the European Union and this means that I will have to pay customs taxes and VAT if I order from those guys.
Actually, I will have to pay an extra 1/4 of the guitar's value plus the shipping value if I order from outside the EU. Which is kind of ridiculous, no matter how much that 1/4 is in $$$.
The local customs authorities can kiss my butt - I simply am NOT going to pay a quarter of anything's value just because it comes from outside of the EU.

So, if you come across a Kramer Vanguard S-440S somewehere in Germany or in any other EU country, please drop me a line here.
