hi,

try this:
1. power off
2. push all 9 sliders all the way up
3. power on
if this doesn't work, then:
4. power off
5. push all 9 sliders all the way down
6. power on
OK the likely problem is a "noisy" controller. By noisy I mean a controller that is malfunctioning, outputting data even when you are not touching it. For example, a bad pitch wheel, mod wheel, slider etc - something that is transmitting when it shouldn't.
The PC3 during boot up goes through a sort of self-check and if any activity ("noise") is detected, it waits till things quiet so it can properly calibrate. Problem is if you the noise does not stop, it waits indefinitely.
So now the issue becomes what specifically is acting up? Being that this has been a bit random it will take some trial and error to suss. Once identified though, it should be a simple repair job for any qualified tech (and you are still within warranty based on your date of purchase).
There is a simple test you can perform to try and identify what controller may be bad:
When you have some downtime,
a_ hard reset the unit (master mode) - back up any personal data first of course.
b_ if applicable, disconnect all MIDI and USB connections from the PC3.
c_ press Master
d_ press [Utils]
e_ press [MIDI]
Wisst ihr was davon?
