MIDI communication with a device connected via the USB TO DEVICE terminal follows special rules for allowing the device to behave like a built-in keyboard.

  • MIDI communication is one-way only (sent from the external MIDI device and received by the MONTAGE M).
  • All MIDI data is received regardless of the MIDI IN/OUT and MIDI I/O Ch. settings.
  • For Parts with Keyboard Control set to on, data received on all corresponding channels is shared.
    (For example, when Keyboard Control for Parts 1 to 3 is set to on, data received from any of channels 1 to 3 will be delivered to all Parts 1 to 3.)
  • Each Part with Keyboard Control set to off receives the data of only the corresponding channel for the Part.

Die Sinnhaftigkeit erschließt sich mir nicht. Kann das jemand erklären?

Hallo zusammen,
weiß jemand zufällig, ob es möglich ist, mit dem Modwheel oder Superknob das panning eines Sounds links starten zu lassen und durch die Bewegung vom Modwheel oder Superknob den Sound nach rechts zu bekommen?
In der DAW mit einer Automation kein Problem, aber am Montage M bin ich das noch nie gebraucht und gerade habe ich natürlich keins von meinen Boards griffbereit.

Mit Modwheel ging es bei mir am MODX M nicht, mit Superknob auf Anhieb.
Ich musste dazu im Performance Mode nur das "Pan" antippen.
