Waldorf arbeitet an einem Bassdrum-Modul, so à la MBase oder Kick-Lancet...

Ich glaube auch, dass ein neues gutes Piano Soundmodul einen Markt finden könnte. Vorhandene sind ja hauptsächlich aus dem letzten Jahrtausend 😉

Ich bin mal gespannt mit welchen Latenzen das gespielt werden kann, bei MainStage habe ich das Problem, dass sich die Klaviersounds live nicht gut anfühlen wegen der Latenz.

Das hängt wohl vom Audio-Interface bzw. dessen Treiber ab, was hast du da in Verwendung?

Für Live eine Presonus Audiobox 1818 VSL und ein Mac Book pro, haut auch alles sehr gut hin. Ich komme auf eine Latenz von 12,7 ms Roundtrip (8ms Ausgang). Wenn ich das direkt mit den Nordstage 2 Pianosounds vergleiche, spürst du live eine deutliche Verzögerung. Im Homestudio ist das kein Problem.

Electro-Harmonix has introduced two new analog drum synth pedals, the Crash Pad and Super Space Drum, based on a vintage set of analog drum synthesizers:

• Like the original from 1980, the new Crash Pad can create an array of drum sounds and ‘other-worldly’ oscillation sweeps, as well as process external sounds thru its resonant filter. It’s also been updated to respond to expression pedal/CV input for external control over the filter in real-time.
• The Super Space Drum is a reissue of the 1979 original. It uses analog synthesis techniques to create sounds ranging from deep kicks to high toms to sci-fi drums. Trigger it from the built-in pushbutton or an external (non-MIDI) electronic drum pad. Pass external sounds through the gated amplifier via the aux input.

Die wäre aber nicht "Standalone". Entweder MP3-Player mit Computer und MPC mit Computer oder beides "Standalone". Alles andere ist nicht cool. 😎

Guess what? It's red

NAMM 2016: With the 'one week to go to the show' countdown about to begin, Clavia has released a teaser video intimating that it will be announcing something there.

Things not to be surprised about are that it's a keyboard, it's red, and that it produces fine-sounding piano tones. Things that might surprise you are… well, we'll have to wait until 21 January to see about that.

We'll reveal all on MusicRadar, and we're guessing that the Nord Keyboards website will do likewise.
