Anscheinend braut sich ein DAWNerwetter zusammen
Das irgendetwas kommen MUSS, wäre naheliegend
...also heisst 'DAMN' ...verzeihung!... 'DAWN' womöglich 'Montage'...
Yamaha hat gerade per Facebook freudig erregt den weißen Motif XF
Ich kann mir nicht mehr vorstellen, dass die dort eine neue Workstation vorstellen....
Korg bringt den Kronos MK2 und Yamaha hat noch immer nichts parat.
Nektar is releasing an 88-note version of its Impact LX controller keyboard. Featuring a semi-weighted keybed, this is designed as a performance instrument for more serious players.
There are splitting and layering features, and the option to send program changes messages for each zone on the fly.
As well as the keys, the LX88 offers nine faders, nine control buttons, eight pots, six transport buttons, eight velocity-sensitive pads, a foot switch socket, MIDI Out and control wheels.
What's more, it supports Nektar's DAW Integration technology; if you have a supported DAW, the theory is that controls are automatically mapped, and you should be able to navigate many of your software's features from the keyboard. Customising the controller assignments is also said to be easy.
The Impact LX88 ships with a copy of Studio One Artist, and should be available immediately in some areas. It'll be rolled out worldwide by the end of February priced at £220/$320/€290. Find out more on the Nektar website.

Already a hit on the iPad, Waldorf's Nave synth is coming to desktop platforms, while the the second version of the Waldorf Edition plugin bundle is also on the way.
The PC/Mac version of Nave promises all the features of its acclaimed iOS forebear. Its specs include two independent advanced wavetable oscillators per voice with saw, triangle, PWM, white and pink noise (and up to eight-oscillator Überwave); two ring modulators; a multimode filter (with LP/ BP/ HP, 12 dB, and 24 dB settings); three envelopes; and two LFOs.
Waldorf Edition 2, meanwhile, is most notable for its redesigned interface, though new effects are also part of the deal. It includes the PPG Wave 2.2V and Attack percussion synths, as well as the D-Pole filter plugin.
The desktop version of Nave will be available in VST/AU/RTAS formats for Mac and PC priced at €149. Waldorf Edition 2 will be a VST/AU bundle and will retail for €69.

Some 14 years after it made its debut on desktop platforms, Waldorf's Attack drum synth is set to get a new lease of life as an iPad app.
Promising a sound engine that's capable of producing a wide range of drum tones and a 16-step sequencer, Attack also comes with its own effects. Waldorf's Phrase Vocoder technology (which is controller by written text) is onboard, too.
Although it's designed for drums, Attack is also said to be capable of producing bass, lead and polysynth tones, and comes with an interface that's been optimised for touch.

Waldorf has introduced the nw1 Wavetable Module for Eurorack modular synthesizers.
nw1 is Waldorf’s debut module for the Eurorack format. The nw1 includes an advanced wavetable engine, with independent control of spectral envelope and noisiness – like its Nave software synthesizer.
The nw1 Wavetable Module For Eurorack
waldorf-eurorack-wavetable-moduleWavetable scanning is cyclic with optional modulation of travel speed, position, spectrum, and more besides. By providing the Waldorf wavetable set from the classic Microwave and Wave synthesizers, nw1 ‘will enrich your Eurorack modular system as a potently powerful sound source’.
The nw1 sound engine also allows for onboard creation of user wavetables via time domain multiple foldover analysis. All you need to do is connect any sound source to the nw1 to transfer audio into a wavetable. Or use the integrated speech synthesizer to translate typed text into wavetables.
